BabyTheCaveLion if there is such a thing as tattoo twins then yes I believe that's us! Ribs really hurt initially, but after while I got used to it and it was actually quite pleasant, which is odd.

Please excuse the baby flab.... tattoo also needs finished and I need to get dressed.

I don't have any tattoos but love these threads especially the stories behind why people have had certain ones done.

I have friends with them including one female friend who has loads including a full sleeve but never had one myself. I've thought about getting a small one but think I'd regret it or go off the design after a while so don't want to risk it.

I'm the same FromIbizaToTheNorfolkBroads I'm too indecisive and I get bored easily so I've remained tattoo free. I compromised when I was younger by getting piercings, I've taken them all out now so I know I'd have regretted a tattoo, I would still really like one though, I just wouldn't know what or where.

I don't have any tattoos, but I'm considering it. I have a couple of loose ideas that I can play with over the next couple of years until I'm certain and happy.

Until then I love looking at other people's! Some fabulous ones here. The 'Not all those who wonder are lost' sleeve is ace.

How do you know if a tattoo artist is any good, is there a website I can search on?
Can you take a picture and ask them to copy it?

So many amazing tattoos on here. It's inspired me to book my next one.

I have 4 (including my wedding ring) but I'll show you this one. I was doodling at work my DH's name and thought afterwards that's not bad. So went to a well respected local artist and showed it to him and said, can you do this but make it look professional and arty, etc, you know, like you do. He said no. This is your writing and your doodle and I'm going to copy it exactly as you've drawn it as it's yours....
I love it as it is truly mine and he put his professional integrity up for ridicule to do it

When my beloved beagle passes (hopefully not anytime soon!), I plan to get a tiny Snoopy tattoo behind my ear. I'd like it done by Dr. Woo, ideally, as I like his style.

Tattoos are not my thing at all, but some of these are amazing art.

Some of these are amazing! Mine are very identifying, but fuck it, any excuse to show them off!!

The sleeve is work in progress, and the angle of the pic doesn't do the horse justice, it really is incredible!

I also have butterflies on my foot, shooting stars on my hip, no.13 on my wrist and my wedding ring finger has mine and DH initials, but don't have pics or the pics are rubbish.

I clicked on one of those clicky link from something the other day, it was of the worlds best tattoo's. honestly some of them were like optical illusions, really amazing...I wish I could remember where I seen them..

Really enjoyed this thread, amazing tattoos. @ememem84 love yours and it looks really stylish with the chunky watch strap. Was it painful? I'd really like one on my inner wrist.

@bananafish81 love yours too. I've also recently lost my mum and would also about a tattoo, its really touching and beautiful.
