I need inspiration. I have 2. I will have 3 by tomorrow. If they're not that identifying can I please see photos? Or descriptions?

This is mine, taken on my wedding day. It's Hebrew, a memorial to my late mum - it's what's on her headstone, meaning 'a woman of valour' (or as my Israeli colleague said to me 'wonder woman!')

I have none but have to say some of these are amazing! Fishandthechips- wow! That's amazing!

Here's my sleeve, which is my most recent tattoo. I've posted this on here before but I love it so I'll post it again!

The writing is a Heinlein quotation.

The tattoo going down my side is the one that means the most to me. It's a quote Mary Queen of Scots embroidered on her cloths of estate whilst imprisoned in England ( history geek and she is my absolute favourite, I love how she never gave up fighting) "En ma fin git mon commencement."
Translation: In my end is my beginning
I had to start over again so many times and it helped me stay positive. To see it as not the end but an opportunity to start again, a better start... It's a shit photo but the only one where you can kind of see it without me imposing my naked self on you guys

Some great tattoos on here too. I am heavily decorated but won't post any because they are way too identifying. I have lots of birds and flowers all over me though, mostly in Japanese style. I've got a pheasant and cherry blossoms taking up most of my right leg, a red-crested crane and peonies all over my back, two goldfinches on one shoulder, a massive chrysanthemum on the other shoulder, a couple of other flowers in various styles as well as a lady head on one arm and a whole William Morris-y sleeve on the other.

My whole front torso is blank, as well as about 1 1/2 legs and some inner bicep on one arm, so I have some space left!

These watercolour tattoos are really beautiful.

I won't share mine because I can't be bothered to take photos and my tats are not to many people's tastes. I have a MLP, a chubby Betty Boop, an owl, a lion, a U2 symbol, a cat on my ear, a mouse I had when I was 18, DH's name as a wedding ring and five birds on my wrist to represent my children.

Some great work here! I will try to find the photo up of dh's biggest tattoo as the artist is excellent.

I had a small one on the inside of my wrist done last night. It's a copy of my favourite piece of jewellery . I also have the inside of the other wrist done and I had a bigger one on the back of my neck but I'll have to get someone else to take a pic of it as I can't !!

I have several. This is my favourite. Hand poked, way less painful than with a tattoo gun.

I love looking at tattoos and find them captivating despite not wanting one myself. Bananafish yours really took my breath away. The memorial to your mum and the meaning are both powerful and the moment itself looks so full of positivity and light.
