Sadly I think he is right destiny. It certainly seems like trump and Putin are spoiling for a fight. More worryingly I suspect a strategically placed war would do wonders for their approval ratings. If America started fighting Russia Putin's position would be unassailable and everyone would suddenly forget about all the annoying questions over trump's election promises. A win, win for them both. Of course, not so great for everyone else.

Trump is due to speak in Russia on Saturday. Apparently sanctions are on the table for discussion. The guardian has a piece on it, rather worrying and does nothing to dispel the feeling that trump is a puppet for Putin
