Jaysus, is he at all capable of making a public appearance where he doesn't gurn constantly and make extremely aggressive hand gestures?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/01/2017 21:53

Why is he still in office?

KittensWithWeapons · 21/01/2017 21:58

I honestly don't know, Kitten. Everything about him is utterly repugnant.

Oh, this is priceless. Of the media, he said 'They are among the most dishonest human beings on earth, right'. Er, except for you Donald, you odious shit stain on the face of humanity.

Destinysdaughter · 21/01/2017 22:04

Bloody love Madonna! Just watched her at the Washington demo, giving a speech and singing. Good for her for showing up and speaking out

"Trump declared, “I have a running war with the media. They are among the most dishonest human beings on earth, right?”

Interesting. When people say that, they want to be believed. Or they want people to believe them.

I wonder how Hollywood will react. Will movies reflect the changing times?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/01/2017 22:09

Being an amateur weather forecaster I am The Best at knowing rain and I mean the Best. Watching this I can safely say that it rained for at least 6 minutes of his speech. And trust me, I know what I'm talking about. btw China are responsible for the rain and it's a number one problem.

GrouchyKiwi · 21/01/2017 22:12

Er, except for you Donald, you odious shit stain on the face of humanity.

Grin
GrouchyKiwi · 21/01/2017 22:13

That's a great insult. Yuge. Makes the point bigly.

KittensWithWeapons · 21/01/2017 22:31

Thanks, Grouchy. That's a yuge compliment. I do like to make points bigly. I'm the best. The best. Ever. Anyone who says otherwise FAILS. They are failures. They are all failing. All media is bad, they say people don't like me but they FAIL. 37 gazillion people would show up to my inaugaration. Everyone voted for me.

Roussette · 21/01/2017 22:31

Some bloody good posts on here since I've been on last. TSS 17.43 and bigbadgers 17.52 I echo all you say.

I had a lovely night out tonight apart from having to engage with my ex BIL who has lived in US for a while. I had to walk away from his Trump support and his rudeness about my DD going on the London march today. He brought it up, not me.

woman12345 well done you with the March. My DD sent me lots of inspiring pics on whatsapp. She had the pussy hat and whiskers Grin

Great thread. Grin

In all seriousness, does anyone know if there's a procedure for having a President declared unfit for office on grounds of just lacking the mental wherewithal to do that job?

TSSDNCOP · 21/01/2017 22:38

I heard him say it hasn't rained at one of the Inaugaration speeches. Which was odd, because why else would Melania have been sitting under transparent umbrella? To keep the sun off?

Roussette · 21/01/2017 22:40

Yes Gasp. I linked to it on a previous thread. Will look for it again. You don't need to impeach. It's possible.

Seeing all the marches on the BBC made me very happy. Well done everyone!

Also what made me happy was the voiceover on the footage, which said something about how more people were marching than had turned out for the inauguration, and how that would bother President SFV as he's a man to whom size does matter Grin

Yuge yuge protests. With beautiful placards. The best placards.

Roussette · 21/01/2017 22:45

I heard that spudlet !!!! I thought it was very tongue in cheek!

Kitteneithweapons* what fabulous posts.

GingerIvy · 21/01/2017 22:50

The prblem is that even if Trump is ousted, we still have Pence and Ryan next in line, and they are just as bad, if not worse.

bialystockandbloom · 21/01/2017 22:51

That meant to say kittenwithweapons

Twogoats · 21/01/2017 22:57

These women are just jealous. Jealous women! Sad!

saffronwblue · 21/01/2017 23:01

Even the women working in Antartica got together for a protest.

Brokenbiscuit · 21/01/2017 23:02

Did anyone see the Whitehouse press briefing just now on sky news? I wonder if they're going to start every briefing by telling off the media.

I had been clinging to the faint hope that he might try to be more presidential once in power. I think that hope has now faded.

It's easy to dismiss him as a joke, but actually, he's fucking terrifying. He's completely deranged.

KittensWithWeapons · 21/01/2017 23:10

Gin don't remind me. Pence would be a nightmare. As would Ryan. But it's only two years until the midterms.

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 21/01/2017 23:13

Jeez, I'm just watching it now on BBC News24 BrokenBiscuit. Agog! Seriously, Trump is President now - he hasn't got time to be rowing about minutiae like this. There is real work to be done. Coming across rather petulant and paranoid just now.

GingerIvy · 21/01/2017 23:13

Statement supposed to be made about the march - hopefully I've not missed it.

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 21/01/2017 23:15

I should clarify that it was his press secretary doing the hectoring, but dignified silence & taking the Women's March/inauguration comparisons on the chin would be far more powerful (and Presidential) right now.
