Is there a reason why they do this signing in during January? Seems like the worst time of year to be outdoors for a long, arse-aching ceremony. Can't they incrementally time shift it forwards a week or so at a time to April as a kindness to the crowds and participants. Or does warm weather bring more rioters out or summat?
