I am completely gobsmacked by the Avatar speech thing. Don't people who make speeches, speak from the heart any more? He is so obviously incapable of doing that. At the Inaugaration Ball it was all 'elegant' again and as for his dancing, one tweet says "“Donald Trump dances the way I walked around the hospital after my hernia surgery”.

That dance just looked so awkward, like the creepy uncle at a wedding dancing with a bridesmaid.

He mouthed to the audience "I did it my way".

Yes, that dance was so cringeworthy, I couldn't watch. I'm so glad we don't go in for all this stuff- it's just a wave and a few words outside Number 10 and off you go. Can you imagine Theresa May in a ball gown shuffling round the dance floor with Mr May?

I just got a letter in the post from the us.

The stamp is round with a globe in the center and the words 'USA forever global 2016' around the edge. I thought it rather ominous.

I just watched a bit of the dance and malania genuinly looks like she can't stand him. I actually feel quite sorry for her now and hope she gets to escape back to New York soon.

Roman That is beautiful. He obviously genuinely loves kids and is so natural with them. I feel like crying that we've gone from a thoughtful, intelligent and genuinely lovely man with an amazing, inspirational wife to President Fart and a plank of wood.

Bloody hell, I think the people whose garden backs on to ours actually are building a bunker! This wasn't there last time I looked around a week ago - I can only see their garden from DD's room.

There is a women's protest march local to me and I'm trying to persuade the DC we want to go. My DD (7) got this terrified look on her face and said "he's not going to be there, is he?" Feel quite that I've not filtered well enough for her to feel genuine fear but also, it is scary... They're currently glued to YouTube, so we'll see. Anyone else going?

Looking at those photos of the Obamas, I can't think of anyone else in the world who exude such genuine star quality. They're a golden couple. I would so love to meet them.

Just thought of a great way to wind up the........ current president. Everyone should continue to refer to "President" Obama at every single opportunity in public, on Twitter, everywhere. Trump can just be Trump. I'll be like a red rag to a bull, like shouting "Come on Tim!" during a Murray match. Not that Murray's anything like Trump obviously.
