As requested from a previous thread

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/2823906-to-think-you-should-ignore-people-having-a-go-at-you-if-you-are-the-President-Elect-of-the-USA?

It's going to be a beautiful thread. MNers, who by the way are amazing, can contribute as much as they want.

He's doing the BSL for bumhole

Right that's it - enough

ItsThatBeverleyMacca · 20/01/2017 17:03

When I refreshed AIBU there was 666 replies on this thread about Trump. So...yeah.

SanFranBear · 20/01/2017 17:03

Not many people of colour in his crowds, is there? God - this feels like such a backwards step Sad

inappropriateraspberry · 20/01/2017 17:03

And it's stated raining on him - pathetic fallacy or just God literally pissing in his parade?!

squishysquirmy · 20/01/2017 17:03

He thanked the "people of the world".
wtf, he knows the rest of us never got to vote didn't he?
or was it an encoded thankyou to Putin

Lweji · 20/01/2017 17:03

People of the World!!!!! SAD

bialystockandbloom · 20/01/2017 17:03

He is basically treating this whole thing as a business proposition isn't he

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 20/01/2017 17:03

This is the way it all ends,
not with a bang or a whimper
But a loud, obnoxious Trump

Haha, a genuine laugh at a bleak time.

whyohwhy000 · 20/01/2017 17:03

He's been sworn in. :(

InformalRoman · 20/01/2017 17:04

God pissing on his parade would be poetic justice ...

Spudlet · 20/01/2017 17:04

What's with all the marching going on at the back?

Lweji · 20/01/2017 17:04

It's raining. I'd say God is sending a message. He's crying.

TheLegendOfBeans · 20/01/2017 17:04

10/10 to Obama for basically keeping a neutral expression throughout this whole BS about "making America great again" and Trump de facto pissing on his legacy in his "victory" speech.

Lweji · 20/01/2017 17:04

I worry about his hair.

MrsDustyBusty · 20/01/2017 17:05

Would nobody teach him to not make those risible hand gestures?

Also, this speech will clearly not have a stand out moment of inspirational eloquence. It's as silly, small minded and partisan as his campaign.

bialystockandbloom · 20/01/2017 17:05

He's a fucking arsehole.

amispartacus · 20/01/2017 17:05

He is setting himself up for failure if things go wrong for people who believe in him

inappropriateraspberry · 20/01/2017 17:05

Spud I'm hoping they've come to take him away!

Lweji · 20/01/2017 17:05

Establishment

Spudlet · 20/01/2017 17:05

It crossed my mind raspberry!

SinisterBumFacedCat · 20/01/2017 17:06

What would he do if he lost his right hand

SanFranBear · 20/01/2017 17:06

LegendofBeans - I thought Obama looked like he was holding back tears actually.
