to get upset at inappropriate thread titles

I've obviously made a huge error of judgement commenting on a thread full of hugely pregnant women and I apologise to them for that (pleading temporary insanity of disgusting icky cold)

however

I do hate seeing thread titles popping up all the time in active conversations (because they're ongoinng chats rather than jokes that fade away) that have sexual innuendo in the title .. just seems so uneccessarily childishly assinine

eg an ante natal thread entitled 'minty sperm or original' .. ach!

They're really pregnant! I'm just glad to see they're keeping their sense of humour.

(I did drop into that thread with a hearty 'wtf' at the title, though. They were helpful and explained.)

I am fully aware that every heavily pregnant woman needs a good outlet .. am happy to provide one ... online at least

I agree with you and I don't like thread titles with full on swearing in them, just incase my dd happens to be reading over my shoulder (which she does do).

bbs, they think gaviscon liquid (I think?) is like sperm. And it comes in minty and original.

I suppose it beats beans down to the ground though

I don't mind apart from when my DS's are here cos being older they try to read the thread tiltes and i have to switch off.

I am more bothered by the postnatal thread from October that has a title about weaning. It's entirely not my business, but ... gah ...
