The top note in Defying Gravity (if the rest of the song has been sung really well)

SweetChickadee · 29/09/2016 18:28

Marching bands, esp the drums. DM is the same Hmm

PoisonousSmurf · 29/09/2016 18:28

Watership Down, when the 'Black Rabbit' comes to collect the hero at the end. Blub

CurlyhairedAssassin · 29/09/2016 18:28

The abandoned phones in the Carphone Warehouse advert used to have me filling up. I know this is deeply pathetic. Grin

sonlypuppyfat · 29/09/2016 18:28

Your Song by Elton John

Champagneformyrealfriends · 29/09/2016 18:30

Male voice choirs
Especially if they sing Danny Boy

CurlyhairedAssassin · 29/09/2016 18:31

Oh I know! Right at the start of the Lion King Musical when all the animals troop into the auditorium through the aisles, I found my lip wobbling and couldn't understand why. I turned round in my seat to watch everything from all the different angles and saw that well over half the audience were experiencing the same emotion as me, wiping their eyes etc.

CurlyhairedAssassin · 29/09/2016 18:33

Champagne: I don't watch adverts anymore really, just forward through them. Thank god, if they could leave me traumatised!!

CurlyhairedAssassin · 29/09/2016 18:33

(No I didn't see the dog one)

Onedaftmonkey · 29/09/2016 18:33

When I'm watching my favourite band. Doesn't matter what song they play. After 20 odd years it never fails me.

Tiredandtested · 29/09/2016 18:34

The John Lewis Christmas adverts. I bloody hate the festive season but somehow they always make me teary.

NickNacks · 29/09/2016 18:35

A practise fire evacuation.

doyouwantamedalorsomething · 29/09/2016 18:35

Oh the PHONES!

doyouwantamedalorsomething · 29/09/2016 18:35

I got my Nokia back out of the mazuma mobile bag

EverySongbirdSays · 29/09/2016 18:38

Mine is Extreme Makeover Home Edition always even though rationally I know I'm being manipulated into crying.

CandyOcean · 29/09/2016 18:38

'Vincent' by Don McLean. No idea why, Van Gogh isn't even my favourite artist. Probably I'm just a suckered for mawkish sentimentality Blush

WetsTheFinger · 29/09/2016 18:39

Very old men shopping alone.

hopetobehappy · 29/09/2016 18:39

Whenever I hear children singing Away in a Manger, also whenever I hear Oh mio Babbino Cara.

MarshaBrady · 29/09/2016 18:40

Children singing in choirs or big groups. Makes me well up. Too much emotion

maddiemookins16mum · 29/09/2016 18:40

"Do you hear the people sing", the reprise (or whatever it's called), at the end of Les Mis on stage.
U2 singing Bad at a concert, 30 years after I first saw them.
News reports about older people being abused in homes (actuakly I'm filling up now).
Sad cat adverts.

Champagneformyrealfriends · 29/09/2016 18:41

Wets ditto

OP posts:
PotatoBread · 29/09/2016 18:42

mum2Bomg · 29/09/2016 18:43

DIY SOS the big build - every bloody time. And Undercover Boss.

QueenofLouisiana · 29/09/2016 18:43

Away in a manger- a bit difficult when you're a primary school teacher.
