I put the washing out
An hour later it started to rain
I brought the washing in
Half an hour later the sun came back out

That's it

I made my son scrambled egg on toast
He threw it on the floor
The dog ate it off the floor
Son screamed for junk

Yours beats mine Grin

I sent an email. When I looked in my sent messages folder for another reason, the email wasn't there!

Actually that's quite mysterious, although far from gripping.

Soubriquet · 09/09/2016 13:59

I walked an hour to collect a baby hedgehog that I don't think will survive

I came home to discover my mum has came round with 3 large boxes of toys she no longer wants at her house.(I didn't buy them. They are for all the grandchildren)

My house now looks like a toy shop

The end

I decided not to have cereal for breakfast and had a ham sandwich instead. It was a nice change.

oldlaundbooth · 09/09/2016 14:07

I staggered for the bus
It left without me
I caught the next one
I'm at work now

humblesims · 09/09/2016 14:08

Ah that reminds me i need to get the washing in.

humblesims · 09/09/2016 14:10

Your email thing Charley reminded me that earlier on I heard my phone ring - didnt get to it in time. It was from 'School' so rang back and they knew nothing about it. Spooky. Hmm

I can't think of anything boring. My life is full of exciting activities. Every day Grin

Friolero · 09/09/2016 14:13

I went to take my washing out of the machine at lunchtime, to find I hadn't pressed the start button. Exciting times.

CosyCoupe88 · 09/09/2016 14:14

My 2 year old was due his usual 2 hour nap
Fell asleep in the car
4 minutes later we were home
Transferred to his bed but is fully awake and thinks that is enough sleep for today and probably until 10pm thank you very much

I went to Argos to buy a CD player. The one I wanted was out of stock so I bought a different one.

Charley50 · 09/09/2016 14:14

Humble I solved my mystery. The email was 'forwarded', rather than 'sent' so of course it didn't appear in the sent folder.

Soubriquet - rescuing a hedgehog is in no way boring. Grin

LillyInTheMoon · 09/09/2016 14:15

This morning we were running late for school
We walked faster to compensate
We made it to school just as the bell went

TaraCarter · 09/09/2016 14:16

I did all the washing up this morning.

Now there is more.

I am going to have to wash it up too.

Cheerybigbottom · 09/09/2016 14:19

I bought 10 mojito ice lollies today.
Now there are 8.

AgainPlease · 09/09/2016 14:20

Today I drove 1.5 hrs to Guildford to pick up a giant antique mirror.

Traffic was light so I was happy.

GerdaLovesLili · 09/09/2016 14:24

I painted the first coat on a set of shelves that are going to cover up the unpleasant patch of wall in the kitchen where the boiler used to be. I'm a bit worried that it will get rained on while I'm picking up Small Son from school, but the paint is too wet to move it.

I'm also debating whether to put the laundry out to dry. Hmmm.

iseenodust · 09/09/2016 14:33

I work from home and the online system has gone splat. I have made a cup of tea but don't think I can just write off the rest of the afternoon and go into town. So am on MN. Grin

RebeccaWithTheGoodHair · 09/09/2016 14:57

These are brilliantly boring - apart from the hedgehog!

I cut my toenails whilst DC2 was napping. I love the feeling of freshly cut nails!

Soubriquet · 09/09/2016 15:29

Soubriquet - rescuing a hedgehog is in no way boring

It is when you just have to reach under a bush and pick it up Grin

It's at the vets now. Looking quite sorry for itself

FlyingElbows · 09/09/2016 15:33

I did some ironing then I put it away. I looked at cordless hoovers then got bored.

Shockers · 09/09/2016 15:33

I kept thinking it was going to rain so I brought the washing in. The dog came with me and ate two windfall apples and some damsons. I expect he will fart a lot later.

icecreamtuesday · 09/09/2016 15:37

I've been trying for ages to get the citrus version of Vosene. You can't get it in many places so when I found it today in a local chemist I was so thrilled.
