There's a car parked on my drive

Arrived home from work to find a car parked on my drive. Thought it might be one of dh's friends but no.

Our drive can fit two cars but the bastard has decided to park at the front of the drive so no chance of parking on the drive and blocking them in like I would like to.

It's making me irrationally angry and I can't stop checking to see if it's gone. Dh doesn't seem to share my annoyance.

Why would anyone decide it's ok to park on someone's drive?!

Can't you park over the dropped kerb to trap him in?

Because they are cunty twats, that's why they are parked like county twats.

We're at the end of the road with our garage and drive in front of the house. The way the road is laid out I can't block him in with him parked at the front of the drive without blocking in a few of my neighbours too.

I am currently sat on the sofa with eyes on the car in case they come back.

I would be angry, too, but I'm in the US, and I think things might be different here than there. Or at least that's what I've gleaned on these parking threads. My driveway is my property, and if someone parked on it without my permission, I'd be within my rights to have them towed. I'd be shocked if that ever happened, though, because it's just not the done thing here. I would never feel justified in parking on someone's driveway unless I was there to visit that person.

Speak to your neighbours and ask if it would be OK to block them in for a bit.
