did you see that thread about having your house 'visitor-ready'? I have literally fobbed people off at my front door because it is so very, very, not.....
I skim-read it, but had nothing to offer. I would have felt so hopelessly inferior. I just don't know how people do it!
I suffer from:-
*Genuinely not being aware there is dirt to be cleaned especially in weird places like walls and skirting boards. Surfaces not so bad at noticing.
*Laziness when I do see it.
*Needing a reason to light a rocket up my arse. Visitors usually does it, but I get few of those.
*Once clean, I cannot do maintenance. Even months later, I feel like, "but I've just cleaned that". Also, if you don't let it get dirty properly, you never feel like the next cleaning job had a real impact. You don't get that thrill from making it look very different.
Just my thoughts
