I'm quite prepared to be flamed over this, but I can't be the only one to think that there is something really off about her? She is really milking his new found fame for all it's worth, desperately trying to turn herself into the new Victoria Beckham/Coleen Rooney. First it was the newspaper interviews, then the lingerie shoot, followed by the big OK wedding spread.

Now very conveniently she was caught up in all the trouble between England and Russia fans over the weekend and ended up getting tear gassed. Managing to get her face on the front pages of course, and this morning I woke up to see her being interviewed via satellite on Good Morning Britain about her terrible experience, looking all serious. I thought it was just me, but you could tell from the way he was questioning her that Piers Morgan also thought she was talking complete bollocks.

Now I know she's not the first woman to use her footballing husbands fame to boost her own career prospects but he's apparently estranged from his entire family, parents and grandparents because they dislike her and they didn't attend the wedding. Then you hear that she has form for selling kiss and tell stories going back years, I can't help but think that she's been waiting her whole life for this gravy train to arrive.

Getting yourself tear gassed is an unbelievably extreme way to get attention, so for that allegation plus the fact you watched all of this on some crappy Piers Morgan show, YABU.

Why the hell do you know all this shit about her? I vaguely heard a headline on the radio about one footballer's wife getting caught up in the violence, and I think recognised the name in your title from that. But I don't even know her name (and I think it's interesting that you haven't given it in your OP even, she's merely 'Jamie Vardy's new wife').

It is very possible to avoid knowing anything about people like this, if she bothers you so much.

Oh I've just read your post properly. I read the stories about the wedding and I did think there was something off about her. But then that was the first thing I'd ever read about her apart from the fact she's apparently a westlife fan and Shane filan sang at their wedding. (Dislike him and his arrogant dick of a manager very much so that also made me dislike her}

She gave some interview where she basically said (can't remember the wording) that she was hot headed and had a mouth on her. So at least she's frank about it.

I think her remarks after she slept with Peter Andre were crass in the extreme, but I don't particularly judge her for being ambitious in terms of her career. It has worked out very very well for Coleen Rooney so why wouldn't she take heed of the WAG business model?
