I'm quite prepared to be flamed over this, but I can't be the only one to think that there is something really off about her? She is really milking his new found fame for all it's worth, desperately trying to turn herself into the new Victoria Beckham/Coleen Rooney. First it was the newspaper interviews, then the lingerie shoot, followed by the big OK wedding spread.

Now very conveniently she was caught up in all the trouble between England and Russia fans over the weekend and ended up getting tear gassed. Managing to get her face on the front pages of course, and this morning I woke up to see her being interviewed via satellite on Good Morning Britain about her terrible experience, looking all serious. I thought it was just me, but you could tell from the way he was questioning her that Piers Morgan also thought she was talking complete bollocks.

Now I know she's not the first woman to use her footballing husbands fame to boost her own career prospects but he's apparently estranged from his entire family, parents and grandparents because they dislike her and they didn't attend the wedding. Then you hear that she has form for selling kiss and tell stories going back years, I can't help but think that she's been waiting her whole life for this gravy train to arrive.

I saw the picture and she was the only one who seemed to be affected by it (jumper held across her mouth). Seemed a little bit staged, but then again I wasn't there. For someone who was tear gassed she sure had lovely white eyes afterwards in all the subsequent pictures.

She's obviously going to stick up for the fans after the threats to send England home if there's more trouble. It would cut her holiday short and her husband won't get the opportunity to play in Euro '16.

I am, however, a cynical old trout and she might be an absolute darling!

That's not what I said cute and you know that. I doubt it's what she wanted either. I've yet to meet anyone who was delighted because their relationship with their child's mother or father has broken down. I would reiterate what I said for your benefit however I can't be arsed.

She's not on holiday. She was at home this morning on her sofa talking about it and also highlighting that her bag wasn't searched going into the stadium which surprised me given what's happened in France.

Who cares whether someone wants to get their face in the papers or magazines? Some people like attention, which is no better or worse than someone wanting no attention whatsoever.There are many many people who see publicity.
You don't have to like her and will probably never bump into her so she has no impact on you personally whatsoever.
As for her husband's family, they don't have to like her and if they say negative things about the woman that's up to them and her to resolve.
