In tears

Fucking parliament. You utter bastards. You're going to kill people and it won't stop anything.

The tears are for the innocent people of course. Whether you're Cameron or Corbyn or me you will sleep safely tonight and probably for years to come. But our country is going to kill a load of innocent people. They won't destroy ISIS they will grow them, and loads more innocent people will be killed by them.

How can that not upset me?!

Really rage you expect all the military plans to be revealed to the public?

seasidesally · 02/12/2015 23:05

how come they can find money to fund this ??

or are they going to slash even more of the British people to fund this or is it accounted for ??

TwoSmellyDogs · 02/12/2015 23:06

So what's your alternative plan OP?

MissFitt68 · 02/12/2015 23:06

Op ... They have tried to target THIS country like Paris.... Are you safe? Your family? We are sitting ducks.....

Maudofallhopefulness · 02/12/2015 23:06

I agree with you OP.

howtorebuild · 02/12/2015 23:07

Osborne has a get out of jail free card to cover up his crapness.

UterusUterusGhali · 02/12/2015 23:07

What on earth is wrong with crying about innocent lives lost?
I cried over the Paris attack.
I cried over Assad's slaughter.
I'll cry over this.

My tears aren't saved for white folk. Hmm

G1veMeStrength · 02/12/2015 23:08

My solution will sound flippant but it's not meant to be. I would put together a team of intelligent people to figure it out. I expect that would include a lot more women than are currently working on the issue. I am sure there is far too much male posturing bollocks in all this. Lose the egos and sort it out - there has to be a secret service type way of getting to ISIS without bombing people.

MissFitt68 · 02/12/2015 23:08

Luton arrests today.... what were they planning on doing I wonder?

UterusUterusGhali · 02/12/2015 23:08

The 7/7 bombers were maily British iirc.
Bombing the shit out of the ME will not make the attacks STOP ffs.

IrishTeacher · 02/12/2015 23:09

YANBU.
Awful.

RealityCheque · 02/12/2015 23:09

Tears, for a vote in parliament? Get a grip.

Were you one of the 'wailers' when princess Diana died also?

It's just not normal, adult behaviour I'm afraid.

ASAS · 02/12/2015 23:09

A MNer on one of the Christmas threads last night said her husband had been called away and she wasn't expecting him back this side of Christmas. I immediately wondered if he's RAF. I've been thinking about her all day.

justgoandgetalife · 02/12/2015 23:09

Have to say that at some point we just have to trust that those in authority make the right decisions. Even a smarmy politician would not needlessly commit us to action without hours of heartbreaking debate.

Thousands of innocent people are already being indiscriminately slaughtered by Isis so at some point there has to be some balanced retaliation from UN. Yes more people will be killed but longer term surely we have to protect as many innocents as possible by getting rid of as few guilty people as possible.

thelouise · 02/12/2015 23:09

I'd also like to know where the money will come from. Social care budget again?!

MissFitt68 · 02/12/2015 23:10

White folk uterus?

justgoandgetalife · 02/12/2015 23:11

That didn't come out right but hope yswim?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 02/12/2015 23:11

It's hardly just a "vote in Parliament" is it?

Hmm
seasidesally · 02/12/2015 23:11

yes a great time for the Government to slip things through without the public noticing as the news will be full of Britains involvement in this

GiddyOnZackHunt · 02/12/2015 23:13

Oh just bless your naivety. They'll do a run asap to show good faith.

Believe me I'd love to agree but no, I really really don't trust that this is the right decision.

And no, I don't believe my family is safe from terrorism, we are at a higher than average risk as it happens, but this is not going to stop terrorism!
