To ask your opinion on this very important site issue?

So mumsnet have recently changed the option to highlight both OP's and your own posts in a specific colour. They claim that only 8% of posters use this feature and hence it's unneeded.

I and some others disagree Grin So please if you would, can you answer the following questions for me? Either to protest the change or to support MNHQ, I don't mind, just interested in this 8%. Copy and paste your answer.

So firstly:
Do you use the highlight posts feature?

If yes
Yes, I tried it, but I didn't like it.
Yes, I use it on the desktop and mobile site but not the app.
Yes and I would like to keep it.

If no
No, I didn't know that you could do this.
Not interested in a highlighting option.
Only use the app and it's not an option on there.

you save a lot of time if you can just read the OP posts. Even if you use ctl+f you have to wade through other posters putting the op's name in the post, and you can avoid the sneery posts Grin

Presumably they have their reasons for spending 30 hours a day on a website but it is not normal or healthy.

Its not normal to think there are more than 24 hours in a day either.

I also like to choose my own colours- some cause me less eye stain, so choose those.

I am despairing at the mentality of this website. The big sister moderators have created a lot of dependent creeps and it's sad. Maybe I am a bit sneering and that's not very nice I agree but I really hate the saddo losers who spend their lives on mumsnet. They totally spoil it. I don't post very often because of them. but I suppose I should be kinder, they probably are suffering from something terrible to be on a website all day every day always.

Iam - it will keep working so long as you don't try and change anything in Customise (Unless they do something even more heinous) - as soon as you make ANY change though in customise, that's it, it's all gone.
