To ask your opinion on this very important site issue?

So mumsnet have recently changed the option to highlight both OP's and your own posts in a specific colour. They claim that only 8% of posters use this feature and hence it's unneeded.

I and some others disagree So please if you would, can you answer the following questions for me? Either to protest the change or to support MNHQ, I don't mind, just interested in this 8%. Copy and paste your answer.

Do you use the highlight posts feature?

If yes
Yes, I tried it, but I didn't like it.
Yes, I use it on the desktop and mobile site but not the app.
Yes and I would like to keep it.

If no
No, I didn't know that you could do this.
Not interested in a highlighting option.
Only use the app and it's not an option on there.

Sorry, it's awful. I chose the duller colours for ease of reading. The bright colours strain my eyes.

Also why is every thread watched? I don't want to watch every thread. 'Threads I'm on' does that. 'Watch' is for other things.

Opinions (in the next 10 posts ) on these two greens? I took the liberty of toning it down in photoshop...

Left = current. Right = the blue of the post headers, dragged along the hue line to a blueish green, then slightly desaturated further.

Somewhere in between the two. The current one is too garish.

Mine used to be set to olive for the OP, and purple for me. Has that changed now?

Right hand green. The pale one.

The strong green is horrid!

I DO think it's a good idea to enforce colouring the OPs posts, to stop the excuse of ''i haven't bothered trawling through to read the OP's post'' posters. But not in this bloody green!

I like the colour that my posts are.

I also thought that the "header blue" would be better than the green if we can't have our old colours back.

The RH one is very like the colour I used to have the OP's posts highlighted in. Much prefer it.

It is a green for OP and a grey/purple for yourself currently for everyone.

Yes, I loathe them both. I am not a lavender person.

I have used this for a while, mine were dark green for op and light pink for me so I just though my screen had gone funny

I really do NOT like the new, brighter green for the OPs.

If I had to choose between those two greens I'd choose the paler one.

I'd prefer a colour other than green but if it had to be green I'd ideally want something slightly deeper and bluer than the one on the right.
