help for strikethrough please

just to say, mumsnet has been an amazing help for me for so long, and through the many dilemmas of my life.

just wondering if someone who has the time or inclination can help.

I have been trying to do the "strikethrough" on my messages for ages.
I have looked online, but still can't grasp the best way to achieve it.

can anyone help?

there must be a simple way for simple me, to work out how to do it in ordinary emails?

ilovesooty I think the strike through is meant as the written equivalent of the "comic aside".

In ordinary emails you would find it as an option for formatting your font ( depending on which email programme you use). Try highlighting the text you want to strike through then right click. You might get some formatting options. Alternatively look at the top menu for 'format' and select 'font' - options to strike through should be listed along with bold and italic.
