help for strikethrough please

just to say, mumsnet has been an amazing help for me for so long, and through the many dilemmas of my life.

just wondering if someone who has the time or inclination can help.

I have been trying to do the "strikethrough" on my messages for ages.
I have looked online, but still can't grasp the best way to achieve it.

can anyone help?

To the left there's a list of how to do smileys. To the right there's instructions on how to alter your text under the heading Emphasis
