I do believe I would accept an invite should one materialise.

squoosh · 08/09/2014 22:20

Me too Squatting! Imagining Alex's sexual escapades too enough out of me as it is.

PhaedraIsMyName · 08/09/2014 22:20

Irrelevant but Tommy Sheridan is vile.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 08/09/2014 22:21

Iceland is rated higher then the UK in the OECD better life index. Just saying.

Vile, but Tommy Sheridan is irrelevant

ChelsyHandy · 08/09/2014 22:21

Christ, their skin. All spotty and bloated. You'd be terrified bits of it would fall off on you if you snogged them. In fact, I bet it does. Gross. Its like you either must never have seen an attractive man, or you did, and you thought it was a bad thing. Both of them look about 20 years older than they actually claim to be as well.

Mind you, some women will fancy any men in the public eye. Look at One Direction (I would, much rather). Or those women that marry rapists in jail, despite never meeting them beforehand.

AnnieHoo · 08/09/2014 22:21

Haha Chelsy!!Grin

ChelsyHandy · 08/09/2014 22:23

LovelyRitatoo I do believe I would accept an invite should one materialise.

I've heard its not at all difficult to get one. Better chances still if you take along a friend.

TeamScotland · 08/09/2014 22:25

Agree that it's a scandal Scotland has to pay a share of vanity projects such as HS2.

Vote YES folks Grin

ChelsyHandy · 08/09/2014 22:25

Alex Salmond and his discerning and interesting choice of much older wife suddenly look positively impressive in comparison.

squoosh · 08/09/2014 22:25

I can't even imagine those parties.

Okay maybe I can......

Luke warm Iceland party platters served on the warm white wobbly belly of Tango Tommy's pal Fat Tam.

LovleyRitaMeterMaid · 08/09/2014 22:25

He is not without his charm.

Ach, you don't need our votes, seems the polls are saying you have it sewn up already.

StatisticallyChallenged · 08/09/2014 22:26

It's directly above ItsAll, hardly a huge difference.

squoosh · 08/09/2014 22:27

'Hey doll, slide on over here to my sunbed and I'll make you glow'

WildThong · 08/09/2014 22:28

Is that a sexy pose? In a sunbed Grin

weatherall · 08/09/2014 22:28

Definitely time to call it a night!

If anyone's leaving scotland can you please take tommy and George with you?

AnnieHoo · 08/09/2014 22:29

Scandal of vanity projects would never happen in an Independent Scotland eh? Caledonia Bridge Saltire Crossing

ChelsyHandy · 08/09/2014 22:29

He is in his sixties, yes?

WildThong · 08/09/2014 22:30

Tommy? Sunbed skin.

TeamScotland · 08/09/2014 22:30

At least daft vanity projects would be within Scotland, for the people of Scotland.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 08/09/2014 22:31

For Charlie Brooker fans:
www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/sep/08/scottish-independence-david-cameron-no-campaign-windows-8

"Apparently the consequences of a split in the union could be calamitous. The skies will fall and the seas will boil and the dead shall rise and the milk will spoil. There will be a great disturbance in the force. Duncan’s horses will turn and eat each other. Starving ravens will peck out your eyes halfway through the Great British Bake Off. Your dad will give birth to a jackal full of hornets. And in London’s last remaining DVD shop, Gregory’s Girl will quietly be re-categorised as “world cinema”."

Night night Smile

Oddly when I hear "vanity project" the first thing that springs to mind is the Scottish Parliament building and the second is the Edinburgh trams.

StatisticallyChallenged · 08/09/2014 22:32

OK. HS2. Can you please link to information about how it is being funded, preferably from an unbiased source, which demonstrates that Scotland is specifically funding it.

WildThong · 08/09/2014 22:33

Or you can have Brigadoon/Brave instead
