Oddly when I hear "vanity project" the first thing that springs to mind is the Scottish Parliament building and the second is the Edinburgh trams.

OK. HS2. Can you please link to information about how it is being funded, preferably from an unbiased source, which demonstrates that Scotland is specifically funding it.
