IrnBru "at as small a loss as possible."But why make a loss when you can turn your dire situation into an investment for the long term??
I just explained that. No economic certainty, don't know what would happen next in Scotland. No protection of human or property rights.
Why on earth would anyone want to own their main family home in a country they no longer live and work in? Just seems such a totally bizarre idea to me. Scotland hates absentee landlords anyway, look at all the comments on other threads about them.
Sorry it will bring down the value of your property as well and you might end up in negative equity. It won't affect you, you will be in Scotland.
You want rid of wealthier individuals anyway, so you can be the left wing socialist country you all want. Don't complain when it happens!
Theres so many other nice countries in the world to live in. I hope we can get a Visa. Germany is lovely, I have a few friends living in Barcelona, The Netherlands has loads of jobs for DH. He was offered a job in Switzerland once, I'm sure he would be again. Think of trying all those new foods!
