We should arrange an Indyref meet up at this stage. Grin

An MP to the door? Have never seen one of those!

StatisticallyChallenged · 28/08/2014 20:04

Depends OldLadyKnowsSomething, what's in it? If it's Irn Bru and a big slab of chocolate cake I'm in! Grin

cozietoesie · 28/08/2014 20:04

Well he only said he was.

AFewFallenLeaves · 28/08/2014 20:05

Well the business arm of the BBC is just like any other business that would find life more complicated (and hence expensive) in the case of operating in two separate economies after independence.

On the other hand I keep thinking Allan Little sounds rather thrilled at the idea of independence, but maybe my spidey senses are wrong.

Hi statistically how's your bra? Grin

We had folk round the other day just asking if we were no or yes. We were just on our way out so just told them we were no voters. Turn out they were from the better together campaign.

We have had our MP round but not to do with the referendum.

FannyFifer · 28/08/2014 20:08

I've a few family members involved in politics & getting egged was a pretty regular event when out campaigning in the 80's.

Perfectly fitted, of course Grin - that would never work, the straps are far too thin

Im pretty shocked by this. Apparently lots of people getting lots of extra polling cards too...

AFewFallenLeaves · 28/08/2014 20:11

Yes Fanny, that and the whole late 80's scene of glueing up Barclays cashpoints and middle class "Socialist Workers" nicking stuff off me (well all property is theft dontcha know) left me a bit meh. Only I didn't know the word meh..

FannyFifer · 28/08/2014 20:11

Old lady, old house here as well, nightmare to keep warm but wouldn't live anywhere else.
You could have joined farmers for yes, ah well.

If you don't mins my asking, what are your thoughts as you work towards a decision? I'm genuinely interested in what the 'snagging points' are on either side from an undecided POV, if you see what I mean.

Any newcomers, the first thread asked what people's reasons for their voting intentions were, which I thought was really interesting. Any more contributions? Smile

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 28/08/2014 20:13

Of course! You are the famous Statistically ! I hadn't twigged Blush

FannyFifer · 28/08/2014 20:13

Should really be observers from another country overseeing all the voting stuff tbh.

Now there's a challenge for the bra intervention ladies! OldLady surely the traditional greeting would be "you'll have had your tea?" Wink

squoosh · 28/08/2014 20:14

But you can only vote once no matter how many cards you get through the door, your name gets crossed through.

What a tit that guy is on ebay though.

FannyFifer · 28/08/2014 20:14

Are you Michelle Mone Statistically?

I agree. There is an awful lot at stake, and a lot of potential for electoral fraud.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 28/08/2014 20:17

People aren't getting multiples in same name, they're getting cards for people who used to live there....

squoosh · 28/08/2014 20:19

Ah I see.

OOAOML · 28/08/2014 20:21

Is it happening a lot? I wonder what the electoral commission are doing? Bit embarrassing if we can't organise the vote properly, we've had long enough.

OldLadyKnowsSomething · 28/08/2014 20:22

OOAOML, that would be the Edinburgh greeting. I'm a Highlander, now living in Ayrshire. ;)

StatisticallyChallenged · 28/08/2014 20:23

Are you Michelle Mone Statistically?

Haha, I wish I had that much cash!

Faintly amused by being "the famous Statistically" Grin - does that confirm I'm not a no troll sent from the secret facebook group ;P

OOAOML · 28/08/2014 20:24

Ooh I must have been in Edinburgh long enough to start picking up the language.
