Long married friend recently asked how I keep my pubic hair, it's been so long since we've had to worry about it I fear we might be doing it all wrong! So?

If you're comfortable in it, and your partner is happy with it, you're doing it right.

LittleBearPad · 13/08/2014 21:32

Keep it? It keeps itself generally.

SarcyMare · 13/08/2014 21:32

Married 20 years, i only do it before swimming so it doesn't poke out the sides

AnyFucker · 13/08/2014 21:32

Yeah yeah

ThatBloodyWoman · 13/08/2014 21:32

YaBu.

I keep mine caged.

PinkAndBlueBedtimeBears · 13/08/2014 21:32

I keep mine short, but only because I get very bad thrush and the dr said to give it a try and see if it helps, which it does slightly so that's how it stays!
If your happy with it then no problem?

WitchWay · 13/08/2014 21:33

Trimmed in length & area but never removed completely Smile

puntasticusername · 13/08/2014 21:33

Fishtail plaits. A dozen of them.

Honest.

Fanfeckintastic · 13/08/2014 21:34

AlpacaPicnic · 13/08/2014 21:35

Currently a Mohican but I like to mix things up a bit...

beccajoh · 13/08/2014 21:36

Trimmed short otherwise I get thrush. I shave or wax off the sides when I go swimming.

AtYourCervix · 13/08/2014 21:36

Dreds. Cool man.

AuntieStella · 13/08/2014 21:37

"Keep" your pubic hair?

Do you mean: how do menopausal women (or those with body alopecia) stop it all falling out?

Perhaps the claims in the Plantur ads are true.

treaclesoda · 13/08/2014 21:38

I must keep the wrong company. I can not in a million years imagine any of my friends asking me this, no matter how much wine had been consumed. Grin Grin

Onesleeptillwembley · 13/08/2014 21:38

I keep mine in a dinky little flat in Islington, and visit occasionally when DP is away on business.

Snapespeare · 13/08/2014 21:41

Like a troll in a lady garden.

To ask about your pubic hair?
ThatBloodyWoman · 13/08/2014 21:42

Pouquoi mine has to be caged.
Its a delicately balanced habitat, and so its for its own sake.

I muzzle it too at times.

Mummytoagorgeouschops · 13/08/2014 21:43

I remember a girl in my a level art class used her pubes in her final piece. She bought them in a little plastic bag and proudly annotated her pubic hairs!!

thegreylady · 13/08/2014 21:44

Mine disappeared when I had chemo and came back so sparsely I would have to explore to find it :) mind you it was never any problem when it was there :)

WorraLiberty · 13/08/2014 21:44

I totally empathise with you OP, I lie awake every night worrying about my pubic hair.

It's the fear that grips me

The fear that I might be doing something wrong

Flowers for you at this very difficult time xxxxxx
