Long married friend recently asked how I keep my pubic hair, it's been so long since we've had to worry about it I fear we might be doing it all wrong! So?

hiddenhome · 13/08/2014 22:45

Toilet duck and a perm every four months.

Andrewofgg · 13/08/2014 22:46

You too Anyfucker!

MassaAttack · 13/08/2014 23:07

When people Immac their muffs, do they go right up to the inner edges? How do they stop it getting on their pinker regions (aka the British Empire)?

Toooldtobearsed · 14/08/2014 07:55

Grey lady - snap! Lost all mine through chemo too. I have a reverse Mohican, down there, nowt in the middle and unfortunately not enough for a comb over from the sides.
AND I have 2 pet whiskers. I need to keep removing them as I keep catching myself stroking them when deep in thought. Not attractive.

appealtakingovermylife · 14/08/2014 08:05

I knew I needed to sort mine out when dd, 3.5 came back from preschool with a picture of mummy.
Whilst admiring it I asked her what the black scribbles were all over the tummy area, bearing in mind my arms where coming out of my face.
Her reply- "that's your flower mummy, it's horrible"
Hope to God her teachers never asked the same question:)

You do whatever you want with it, just like we all have preferences with anything in life.

Such a shame people feel that unconfident in their preferences that they feel the need to ask others.

Balaboosta · 14/08/2014 08:28

YANBU - my friend whatsapped me to ask this. We maintained an in-depth dialogue on the subject, in between checking with each other times of ballet class or whether the kids would need packed lunch next Wednesday etc. For the record, she immac-ed. Said it stung like fuck.

TheFirstOfHerName · 14/08/2014 08:44

I keep it in the manner to which it has become accustomed.

gordyslovesheep · 14/08/2014 08:58

I don't ... I lost it in the divorce and only see it every other weekend

StillFrigginRexManningDay · 14/08/2014 09:01

Mine is in a sanctuary in southern Italy, recovering. I set it free but it was mauled by some rogue toe hair.

CrayolaCocaColaRocknRolla · 14/08/2014 09:05

When I actually have razors I shave it all off, i don't like it personally...

Floop · 14/08/2014 09:08

I have none.

JapaneseMargaret · 14/08/2014 09:10

Mine's currently starring on Broadway. It's a dream come true.

wink1970 · 14/08/2014 09:45

I had this chat with some (much younger) friends - they say it's unusual to have any hair nowadays; they wax, immac, or just shave. Apparently it's because boys are exposed to porn so much at an earlier age and think bare is the norm / hair is disgusting.

I challenged them to keep their hair, as a feminist statement. Wink

Mine's trimmed to 5mm, and lasered off round the edges, for the record.

TomatoSorbetWoman · 14/08/2014 09:49

Lol at 5mm

gininteacupsandleavesonthelawn · 14/08/2014 09:52

Hollywood wax

DiscoDancer · 14/08/2014 09:56

Just had that kerastase straightening treatment thingy done on mine. Almost down to my knees now.

MamaLazarou · 14/08/2014 10:04

Front bush: grade 3. Sides and undercarriage: all off. I trim with a Remington bikini trimmer. Thanks for asking.

CerealMom · 14/08/2014 10:21

Mine's going grey - along with the hair on my head and eyebrows. At least they'll all match.

wink1970 · 14/08/2014 10:37

TomatoSorbetWoman, it's true, I have a very precise regime for my public hair especially as it's going grey. I use one of those mini-beard trimmers for that George Michael look Wink I also may or may not condition it in the shower every now and then.

treaclesoda · 14/08/2014 10:38

Grin public hair

lurkingaround · 14/08/2014 12:02

All hilarious.
Grin at public hair. Maybe that's why the OP started the thread. Her public pubic hair.

Sallyingforth · 14/08/2014 12:07

I usually run over mine with the Flymo before the summer koliday, but this time I found a blackbird's nest so I have to wait until the chicks have fledged before I can do it.
