To ask about your pubic hair?

Buchanon08 · 13/08/2014 21:30

Long married friend recently asked how I keep my pubic hair, it's been so long since we've had to worry about it I fear we might be doing it all wrong! So?

Brazilian wax

ouryve · 13/08/2014 21:45

Generally short and curly.

Though it seems to be trying to crawl away from its correct location.

500smiles · 13/08/2014 21:45

Mines falling out with the menopause, so I'm not really keeping it, it nestles in the plughole instead

WorraLiberty · 13/08/2014 21:49

500smiles, could you not find it in your heart to donate your nestling pubes to a home for balding beavers?

Salmotrutta · 13/08/2014 21:50

I'm in the same boat as 500smiles.

That said, I have now got a pet chin hair instead.

He's called Bob.

JCleRoux · 13/08/2014 21:52

Hilarious thread! Laughing so loud, I nearly woke up DS Grin.

thegreylady My [obviously male] bodily hair was not affected by chemo although I was bald as a coot and lost my facial hair too. I wonder if that is gender based or do different chemos have different effects?

Snapespeare · 13/08/2014 21:57

eatshitderek

You inspired me. Grin

Matildasmam22 · 13/08/2014 21:58

Andrew, I expect some of the female hormone driven cancers might have treatment that inadvertently targets secondary sexual characteristics ?

Buchanon08 · 13/08/2014 22:01

I only ask because apparently her sister immacs it all off and we wondered if that was 'normal' these days. This was a genuine question btw although she needed a laugh so thanks! I don't have these sorts of conversations with all my friends but I've seen this one give birth (wasn't taking any notice of her pubes then though!)

Shaved once or twice a week

Andrewofgg · 13/08/2014 22:03

Who knows, Anyfucker (what a way for a gentleman to address a lady!), I was just amused. Twenty yours after surviving I can (sometimes) laugh about the Bastard Cancer.

AnyFucker · 13/08/2014 22:04

And very glad we all are that you did, Andrew Smile

Cookiepants · 13/08/2014 22:06

In a box in the wardrobe, I take it out for special occasions Grin

WorraLiberty · 13/08/2014 22:06

It's just hair. There is no 'normal' or 'abnormal'.

Do what you want with it and don't worry about anyone else.

BeachyKeen · 13/08/2014 22:08

See, the only thing that makes me a bit Hmm is one day my bits will end up looking like an old leather purse.
Not that I spend a lot of time thinking about it...

Lifeisforlivingkatie · 13/08/2014 22:13

All off

lurkingaround · 13/08/2014 22:17

Hilarious thread.

In the freezer. Freezes well for 3 months. Bake at 180 degrees for 10 mins when required.

Feed it chicken shit in the spring. Results in a great crop.

Keep it on a wig stand(is there a name for that?), wash and blow dry once a week/once a fortnight.

Wrapped in tinfoil in an airtight tin.

So many answers......Grin. I could go on. Stop me now.

PartyGateCrasher · 13/08/2014 22:22

I keep it once a week on my DH chin
