Where?

OwlCapone · 18/07/2014 03:01

It's just passed over South London.

EugenesAxe · 18/07/2014 03:03

Been incessant here... Kent/Surrey border. We need amazing Weather MNer here but from my limited knowledge I'd say the storm cells were quite intense just because of the wind that springs up before the downpours. I was suddenly concerned we might get mini tornados or something! Think though it was just low pressure.

My DS has zombied into our bed and immediately fallen asleep.

laracroft2001 · 18/07/2014 03:03

A bit mental in east london just now!

caramelwaffle · 18/07/2014 03:03

Think it will bypass us here...

caramelwaffle · 18/07/2014 03:07

Oh!

Rumbling thunder!

And now rain and lightening!

I love a good storm.

whatsagoodusername · 18/07/2014 03:07

There's lots of thunder and lightning in SE London right now.

caramelwaffle · 18/07/2014 03:19

Hmm ok. So my road has gone from dry to mini-river type flooded in less than four minutes.

And my floor is wet from opening the french doors.

caramelwaffle · 18/07/2014 03:20

Lara are you in fg? (I think it was you who were there)

Pinkynotperky · 18/07/2014 03:20

It was mental in aylesbury and Oxford about an hour ago! Bring it back!!

ExtremelyMadCatLady · 18/07/2014 03:30

Female cat hiding in the house. Dog wanted to out then started crying. tomcat went out for the worst of it - just back in now it's over (but then he likes watching fireworks). i jumped out of my skin. but we do need the rain! (I have to say that - we are in England so have to talk about the weather)

KneeQuestion · 18/07/2014 03:35

That was awesome.

laracroft2001 · 18/07/2014 03:38

FG?! I am very near canary wharf if that helps

Raining heavy now but most of storm seems to have passed.

Kundry · 18/07/2014 03:39

Wishing it would go away here - how long before it passes over? Been about an hour already.

laracroft2001 · 18/07/2014 03:45

It was under an hour here but I am now WIDE awake Hmm

Caramel just worked out you mean forest gate?

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 18/07/2014 04:34

laracroft2001 · 18/07/2014 05:06

Started again here and my husband. Has just left to cycle to work Hmm

Egghead68 · 18/07/2014 05:08

Bucks has had it terrible. Been awake since 2:30.

EveDallasRetd · 18/07/2014 05:09

Woke up to a great storm here (Worcs) about half an hour ago. Was loving it - really loud thunder and lightening...then I remembered that I left the car windows wide open. Balls.

laracroft2001 · 18/07/2014 05:12

I am really really nervous about my husband being out in this...

MooseBeTimeForSpring · 18/07/2014 05:13

I love a good storm. The skies here are huge and we get storms like I've never seen before. A couple of years ago we had a hailstorm so bad it broke windows and damaged cars so badly some were nearly written off.

MsVenus · 18/07/2014 05:15

Rumbles of thunder, heavy rain but no lightening here in Kent. Dd woke up screaming at 3:30 as it was too hot for her and is now asleep on my chest wile I am wide awake.
