Blowjob in communal garden?!

BeanyIsPregnant · 17/07/2014 16:33

New couple have just moved into our block of flats, seem nice enough on the few occasions I've seen them.

However, just come downstairs into the communal garden with a rug and dds football so she can have a run around in this nice weather to be comfronted with her on her knees giving him a blowjob...... I don't think I'm being unreasonable to think this is inappropriate at 4pm on a Thursday afternoon?!

They saw me and looked embarrassed and he hastily buckled up his trousers but I just said to dd that the neighbours were busy using the garden and we would come back later.... I think I'm still shocked tbh!

I don't call the police all the time.
I'm very reluctant with the police as I'm not their greatest fan.

But my alarm bells are tinkling a little bit here.

It wasn't a secluded copse down a leafy country lane, fumbling in the fading light.

This was in a place where you might expect children to be at a time when you might expect them to be there on a hot day after school.

They may be mortified, but tough.

Nancy66 · 17/07/2014 17:57

joking aside I think it's pretty gross. They live there, they can do what they want behind closed doors but to do it outside in the middle of the day when they know people (inc children) are around is skanky.

Floggingmolly · 17/07/2014 17:57

Can't believe all the "no harm done" posts Hmm. Communal gardens are for kids to play in (as op was attempting to do) and her poor dd walks into the middle of that??

Al fresco is generally the middle of the countryside; the green space in front of the black of flats you live in is seriously off.

Icelollycraving · 17/07/2014 17:59

I think they were lulled into a false sense of security, maybe they have done it before & not got caught. I think I would pop a note to them reminding them it's a communal area & that your child saw.

KnackeredMuchly · 17/07/2014 18:00

Bleugh, if it happened again I'd certainly call the police.

Nancy66 · 17/07/2014 18:00

is there a body corporate/tenant's association?

An official word from them might be an idea

Nicknacky · 17/07/2014 18:00

The op has said herself they might not have realised that they could be seen. They could have been there for hours without seeing anyone and didn't think they would be caught. Doesn't mean they are perverts.

kali110 · 17/07/2014 18:01

How embarrassing and gross!
I certainly wouldn't be calling the police about this one incident though.

WallyBantersJunkBox · 17/07/2014 18:01

Bean was he just standing in the middle of an open space?

BeanyIsPregnant · 17/07/2014 18:06

They Wernt in the middle of the space.. But certainly not 'round a corner' out the way IYSWIM? Near the boundary wall, but still in obvious full sight seeing as the garden is square!

Eugh.hopefully they'll be so mortified they dont repeat it in communal garden
Shocking judgement,wholly inappropriate

WallyBantersJunkBox · 17/07/2014 18:19

I don't know why I need details. Blush I'm "urgh" and yet intrigued at the same time...

So anybody who was at home during the day could have looked out of the window and into the garden and seen them, never mind that obviously you and your daughter were likely to want to use the garden on such a lovely day? Dear me.

tilliebob · 17/07/2014 18:29

Anyone else desperate for the other woman to pop up with a thread about how she and her DP were getting fruity in the garden of their nice new gaff and they were rudely interrupted by a neighbour and her little one?! GrinGrin

WallyBantersJunkBox · 17/07/2014 18:33

No, but I am thinking about those newlyweds on the Fast Show, when the husband was admiring the shrubbery over the fence, smoking his pipe, naked, hips rocking...

TheCraicDealer · 17/07/2014 18:41

Auch they were probably excited about moving into their new pad, knew from their discussion with the OP that she was the only resident home during the day and thought "what's the chances she'll come down in the next two fifteen minutes?". In hindsight not the best decision, but if they were genuinely mortified I doubt they'll be getting their genitals out in the garden again in a hurry.

Jubelteen · 17/07/2014 18:57

I don't think calling the police is at all harsh. If the bloke was wanking in the garden would that be OK? I don't see much difference to that and getting a BJ.
I'd be really wary of people who had so little control over their sexual urges that they just get down to it in a shared space at a time when it was quite likely that they'd be caught. Were they under the influence of drink/drugs? I can't imagine any sane/sober/decent person does this.

BeanyIsPregnant · 17/07/2014 19:00

Paha, I've never posted an Aibu before.. Glad I'm not!
Just such a weird situation, I'd be slightly more understanding if it was at 2am on a Saturday after a drunken night out.... But middle of the afternoon?! They were still in work clothes ffs!

Hoping it now means they will be very good neighbours!

BeanyIsPregnant · 17/07/2014 19:03

They might have been drinking but they didn't seem falling over/ giggling drunk? Wanking would be slightly different, but if he was as embarrassed as they both looked I would probably take the same stance of he should now have learnt his lesson! If I see any dodgy business again I will certainly be contacting someone though..

You say you had a small child and a ball OP.

I would have utilized the ball, just to alert them to the fact that they were not alone in the communal garden.

Lara2 · 17/07/2014 19:17

Totally inappropriate of course.

But does remind me of the morning I was walking my 2 dogs on the beach a few summers ago (think 5.30am) with 2 friends (one was a copper) and their dogs. We walk around a bend and there's a pile of discarded clothing at the high tide mark. The 7 dogs suddenly take off all excited, we look down the steep shingle beach to the low tide mark where there's a couple going at it hammer and tongs!!! Grin They suddenly notice the 7 dogs running around them and then us - standing there with our jaws on the floor!!!! We quickly call the dogs and stomp off as quick as we can laughing! I did feel sorry for them - obviously had no idea that people walk dogs at ridiculous times of day and thought they'd have the beach to themselves! Grin

Nancy66 · 17/07/2014 19:18

i'd say they might be exhibitionists but fact they looked embarrassed and bloke hastily zipped up suggests not.

Years ago I was on the tube sitting opposite a woman wearing no knickers and sitting with her legs apart. you could see everything and, naturally, lots of blokes were leering at her. I tried to be sisterly and gesture to her (thinking she didn't know) but she smiled at me and winked. Flashing her minge on public transport was clearly her 'thing.' Must be 15 years ago and still haunts me.

ThePinkOcelot · 17/07/2014 19:22

Rank! I wouldn't do that in my own private garden!

I mean what were they doing. Sitting out in the garden, her to him, fancy a bj?! Or him to her, gis a bj?! I just don't get it! I've lived a sheltered life I think!!

HermioneWeasley · 17/07/2014 19:35

Good lord, have none of you ever had an alfresco shag? We got interrupted by walkers once - they were highly amused. They got carried away, I'm sure they won't again!
