Tonight's repeat of Benidorm which features Les singing on the karaoke.....Rolf Harris Two little boys Shock.

I think they probably didn't realise.

LadyLemongrab · 01/07/2014 22:03

Don't be daft

Mintyy · 01/07/2014 22:03

To think ITV should NOT have shown what?

FiveFingerDeathPunch · 01/07/2014 22:03

ffs,

windchime · 01/07/2014 22:04

"Two Little Boys" is a song written by American composer Theodore Morse and lyricist Edward Madden. It was written in 1902 and became a popular music hall song of the time, made popular by Harry Lauder. It describes the story of two boys who grow up to fight in a war. In 1969, it became a surprise No. 1 top-selling single for entertainer Rolf Harris in the United Kingdom.

DottyDooRidesAgain · 01/07/2014 22:04

Why is it daft?

OP posts:
Shinyshoes2 · 01/07/2014 22:05

ill timing maybe

BrianTheMole · 01/07/2014 22:05

Why does it matter? Its just a song.

Moreisnnogedag · 01/07/2014 22:07

Because I'm ever so sure they know the exact minute by minute occurrences on every re-run they show.

AnyoneForTennis · 01/07/2014 22:07

I think most people can see it was made well before the court case!

DottyDooRidesAgain · 01/07/2014 22:07

Ill timing exactly.

The line before he sang it was the great Rolf Harris. Made my stomach churn.

LadyLemongrab · 01/07/2014 22:07

What does it actually matter?
Are you traumatised by it?

FiveFingerDeathPunch · 01/07/2014 22:07

and jake the peg
oh dear should we burn them all
will that make the op happyHmm

WorraLiberty · 01/07/2014 22:08

It's funny you should say that.

I just read on FB that The Court of King Corracticus (SP?) was played in a caravan camp kid's club this morning. The staff play the music while they're setting up and had obviously forgotten about the song being in the playlist.

The staff were apparently mortified but some of the parents kicked off big time and refused to accept it was a simple oversight.

Poor staff Sad

LadyLemongrab · 01/07/2014 22:08

Oh come off it, it made your stomach churn? You're just being silly.

DottyDooRidesAgain · 01/07/2014 22:10

Maybe I was BU. Just threw me I suppose because I haven't heard any of his songs since he went to trial.

hoobypickypicky · 01/07/2014 22:10

What harm can a silly song cause? You're over-thinking this one, Op!

DottyDooRidesAgain · 01/07/2014 22:10

I am not being silly. It did make my stomach churn.

ThePinkOcelot · 01/07/2014 22:15

FiveFingerDeathPunch · 01/07/2014 22:15

ImATotJeSuisUneTot · 01/07/2014 22:15

Aaaaawwwwwww FFS. Court of King Corraticus is a fantastic caravan park classic.

Smelsa · 01/07/2014 22:17

If it was him singing it I could understand.

DottyDooRidesAgain · 01/07/2014 22:17

You're a lovely bunch this evening.
Do you all just sit their sharpening your claws and waiting to pounce.

What's wrong with just saying OP YABU.
Why does it always have to be a load of sarcastic put downs and sniping.

The majority rules I am being unreasonable so I concede.

YES IABU.

At my last Guide Christmas party, I forgot to check the Christmas playlist and still had Gary Glitter on there. Luckily the children didn't notice but I was mortified. Oversights happen sometimes.

MrsJossNaylor · 01/07/2014 22:19

Yes,you are being silly. What a ludicrous overreaction.
