And yes, they are a racist* party. Their 2014 manifesto claims that "28,000 Romanians are held for crimes in London" which is, er, complete bollocks.
The Met arrested 27,727 Romanians between 2008 and 2013 so it's not exactly complete bollocks is it.

Yes it is complete bollocks to say that 28,000 "are held" (present tense) and then go on to say that Romanians are the second most serious offenders, insinuating that there are currently 28,000 Romanians being held for serious crimes, if what you mean is that this is the number who were arrested (not necessarily charged) over a SIX YEAR PERIOD.

In fact it's the same bollocks for which the Met had to give the Romanian Embassy a blushing apology. That link btw shows that Romanians are slightly less crime-prone than Brits, so yes, it is both prejudiced and deceptive to take those figures and manipulate them to suggest that there is a "Romanian crime problem".
