Looks like the (admittedly very cheap from e-bay) GS-H2 clearos I got might be knock-offs, as the fix Plenty suggested means removing a part that doesn't bloody well come off on mine!

The company I ordered my GSH2's from sent me a replacement and they are just as rubbish. It's a shame because the first few vapes are lovely but my liquid just keeps going down the inner tube and I use a syringe to fill so it isn't me.

I bought 5 GSH2's from ebay back in October and 4 of them were shit. The seller refunded me and told me not to bother sending them back. I bought new coil heads again from ebay and I've not had any problems since. I'm still using them daily, 3 months on. I'll try and find where I got the coil heads from so don't chuck them out just yet.

I also found using two rubber things worked quite well.

That has worked for me in the past.

Mine are definitely better since I re-coiled them because they are lower resistance now but I haven't had a duff one straight from the box yet (out of a total of 10). Sorry people are having problems, I must have just been lucky. I feel a bit responsible because I spend so much time raving about them.

Don't be daft, Plenty. As you said, the design is such that they should work. And they do give a lovely vape when they do.

Ohhelp, I suppose if they are using a tobacco liquid that might account for it but unlit tobacco smells sweet, not stale like burnt tobacco.

I've not found a tobacco flavour that tastes or smells much like actual fags. Also, I am told by those around me, whatever smell they give off (caramel, vanilla, gingerbread ...) is quite faint and goes very quickly. I think it's unlikely you are smelling fags from the vapourisers (the cig-alike ecigs are just small and not very good vapourisers).

However, lots of people vape as a way of smoking less, rather than giving up altogether, so it's quite possible you have a colleague who still smells of fags. Hopefully they're not actually smoking in the office though.

It may just be that I'm missing something but the video that was linked definitely showed the guy pulling one piece out that sort of held the wick in, and I've tried on 2 of the GS-H2s I got in the batch & with neither of them would this one piece budge (definitely have the right bit, had the video paused at the relevant place)

I vape the most tobacco like flavour I have found ( The Sherlock from ecig wizard) & the non smokers around me assure me it smells of caramel.

I'd agree with Plenty that your work mates are still having the odd fag or two. Which is how I weaned myself off the fags onto ecigs.

I have two 5 ml tobacco samplers which are steeping as I type so very glad to hear that.

The post above the wicks can be really tough to get out the first time. I wrap the whole atomiser in a tissue and wiggle the post back and forward until it comes loose. Some people use pliers on them.

Was it these ones?

I must admit I haven't bought from that seller myself before, they just looked better value than the ones I got.

Yep it was the top link. They came in one box for the 6 clearos, 2 were in sealed plastic and the others weren't. Multicoloured.

The second link you have says 5, free delivery, but are on bids not buy now. I tried a bid at a reasonable price & was outbid immediately with an automatic bid (mutter mutter whinge).

That seller does 'buy it now' too, if you're not bloody sick of the things already.

The boxes don't sound right on yours. I still can't imagine the posts are actually glued in though.

Nope, no individual boxes - but the one you say you used even has pictures of the boxes in his/her listing!

I have ordered from them, in the hopes that I got a dodgy batch from the other person. My only concern is that the T&Cs say "ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN USED WILL NOT BE REFUNDED, BUYERS PAY FOR
RETURN POSTAGE UNLESS FAULTY". And how the feck do we know if it's faulty without using it???

Ohhelp id assume someone is still smoking. Ive had a few different tobacco flavours. I like to use my mum as a guinea pig. I sit next to her and vape and ask if it smells strongly.

She said one smelled faintly of weed but not an overpowering smell. The others she couldn't smell at all. Its the drink flavours she finds smell the strongest (red bull, sex on the beach etc).

(my mum has never smoked or vaped).
