AIBU to have a poo in the evening?

DH claims poo'ing in the evening (after 10pm) is abnormal & that it is weird and IBU to do it.
tbh, I poo when I have time/am able to & with a 3 yo & 3 wo this is most often when he's around, but I don't deliberately hang on until the evening.

He claims that most people are like him & will hold into it rather than poo in the evening - according to him, all poo'ing should be done in the morning (ideally mid-morning going by his w/e habits) & that variation in the time of day that I go is weird & I should just hold on & go in the morning (like him).

Please reassure me that he's the weird one who's BU

I crap at any time of day. Whenever the urge takes me. My dp is like yours, has a very fixed routine. I think it's a man thing.

Poo when you need to, sleep when you're tired, drink when you're thirsty, eat when you're hungry. LTB when you've had enough.

Most people have routines. Morning is normal.

I poo when I need to. When I need to poo, I won't hold it unless it is an inconvenient moment, and even then not for more than an hour or so. I think I would get quite uncomfortable and constipated if I held on all night if I needed a poo.

(I have never said poo so many times in a post before!)

I wish I could poo I've eaten my body weight in grub last 7 days and barely an angelhair spaghetti had passed my chocolate-box. It's very distressing. YANBU... poo away.

I always poo before bed. Occasionally after lunch. Never in the morning, I just don't need to then.

surely the normal thing is to just go when you need to - no need to schedule it. I certainly would not hold in a poo overnight if I needed to go, don't understand the reasoning behind that one at all. Bizarre !

Gosh, I thought it was just my DH who thought poos should be restricted to the mornings only! I poo as and when I feel the need, and so does dd, but DH is always very if either of us do it after around 11am.

Does it matter what time of day you go? Surely its worse to hold it in. I have IBS and when I feel the need to go then I need to go! Your Dh is weird and disgusting if he really did pee in the bath!
