In dds class and her teachers? Think there's about 30 all together.

Really fancy doing it. I can get the stuff from £1 shops.

D you think this would be daft? And what would you think if your child received it from another child?

I wouldn't have a clue what it was - it is hot chocolate

gordyslovesheep · 02/12/2013 21:56

oh and to add - we don't do and never will do gifts to the whole class from my 3 - I don't have a spare £90 for starters!

nicename · 02/12/2013 21:56

We usually make reindeer poo.

AryaofhouseSnark · 02/12/2013 21:56

I think it's a lovely idea. If my dc got something like that I would wonder how I would be able to convince them to let me eat it.

I did it for ds's class last year took about half an hour - 40 minutes and cost a tenner for all 30 kids. It's not a major task or outlay.

AryaofhouseSnark · 02/12/2013 21:57

Oh is it hot chocolate ?

MyCatHasStaff · 02/12/2013 21:57

I like them.

Geckos48 · 02/12/2013 21:57

I think its lovely.

Might well have it in our Christmas Eve box :)

AryaofhouseSnark · 02/12/2013 21:58

Not that I would object if it was.

LifeOfPee · 02/12/2013 21:58

Looks a bit gross in that picture. What is it? How old are the children? Under 8's then a homemade Christmas crafty gift is nice. If they're 17 then I reckon I'd leave it.

It looks yummy, what is it?

AgentZigzag · 02/12/2013 21:59

So long as no snowmen are hurt in the process Shock they'll love it Grin

And you need to get some manners Bradsplit.

gordyslovesheep · 02/12/2013 22:00

seriously - people do presents for every child in the class - good lord I have really seen it all!

Mummytotwox · 02/12/2013 22:00

Yeah it's hot choc with mini marshmallows and chocolate drops.

Bradspitt. I can't work, I have severe postnatal depression. My husband works though.

That ones got too much hot chocolate in, I did a little cone of chocolate, in a cut of cone, then a layer of chocolate beans hen marshmallows. The hot chocolates the pricy part.

furbaby · 02/12/2013 22:00

My dd has been brought these bags to fill for dgc friends as pressys .... she is going to put a candy cane in for a stirrer .
I think its a lovely idea .
cheap but homemade with a bit of thought .

ICameOnTheJitney · 02/12/2013 22:00

I also think they look gross but my DD is 5 and loves them...she bought one just like that at the local Christmas fair and loved it.

Paintingrainbowskies · 02/12/2013 22:01

Nice idea although I think it might be wise to ask the teacher if there's any children with allergies.

My DD wouldn't be able up have that.

Mummytotwox · 02/12/2013 22:01

Yeah I have the bags anyway as I make them for niece/nephews and for Xmas eve box every year. All I need to hot choc, marshmallow and a candy cane :).

I would be really happy for my dc to get a present like that, and probably feel a little guilty that I am too lazy to bother.
It's a lovely idea.
