I think that many of us have been able to give up smoking thanks to e-cigs & vaping & are all feeling the positive results & want to spread the message.

My clearo leaks! Leaks really badly; I had it standing upright on the bedside table with a really nice mix of apple/cinnamon/baccy, and when I woke this morning it was standing in the middle of a puddle!

What do I do?

I haven't used it much until now. Prefer my tank, but it was nice to have things I could just screw on to the battery with different flavours in.

It could be the cinnamon liquid, some are known to damage plastic tanks. Check and see if the plastic looks ok. If it's at all cloudy or cracked, throw it away.

There's a list here of known potential 'tank-crackers'. I think most are strong spice or citrus flavours.

It's not cracked, there's no discernible faults in it at all. I'll try it with some plain baccy and see what happens.

I'm not left in the lurch as I have 2 evod atomisers too, as well as the tank which is part of the Ego C I got in the first place.

The clearo came with a spare battery, from Vape Escape but they don't seem to have them any more - it was a blister pack of battery, charger and clearo, which you linked to on the previous thread. I only used the clearo once before with the Twisted Java , as I prefer a flat mouthpiece.

I wanted the battery rather than anything else, so the clearo was free as it were. If I have to chuck it it's no great shakes.

Re how long clearos last, it depends on what juice you are using and how much you vape . I pretty much chain vape when not in work. If I'm vaping something very sweet a head might need replaced/cleaned after a couple of days. With other juices they can last a week or more. It's cheaper to buy rebuildable clearo, so you can just replace the heads. I clean mine by soaking overnight in vodka and then dry burning them, you can get a few uses out of one head that way. Once they are unusable you can either chuck the head or rewick it yourself.

Agree with Gin - I use rebuildable clearos & vape Sherlock (tobacco flavour). Find the heads need replacing/cleaning once a week. I smoke 20mls a week.

I have the tank one, with rainbow oil.

I have tried a lot of the oils as there is a shop that sells everything for vapering.

I have 2 pens and the tank one seems to be the best for cravings ( rainbow one) while I have the red bull flavour for boredom.

Have a look at the bottom of the tank where the plastic meets the metal Cantabile. I find that sometimes clearos get a bit loose there - the plastic should be flush with the metal bit. If it's not then push the end of the clearo back towards the battery - this might take a bit of force. I've had the plastic bits come completely off the metal and dump liquid into my handbag before with the CE4s.

Cantabile oh good, I hope it's not the liquid as that would be a pain.

I have no idea how long the coils are lasting me. I've just counted up and between us DH and I have 14 coils in various stages of being currently used / waiting to be recoiled, cleaned or fiddled with / cleaned or rebuilt and ready for use (these are now jumbled up with a couple of brand new ones). I don't think I've had one completely stop working yet. There's one I rebuilt because I accidentally pulled the coil out when I was cleaning it though.

Tonight's strange FastTech Dekang flavour is Hong Shuang Xi which means 'double happiness' according to Wikipedia It is fucking foul! It's the first time I've emptied a clearo down the sink since Twisted Java. It's another tobacco flavour and there is a hint of tobacco there somewhere but it is drowned out by heavy overtones of dung and piss. Even DH won't vape it and I swear he would vape a mouldy sock. My advice is save your £1.21

Another thought Cantabile, was it standing next to a radiator?

I'm having a problem with the iclear 16, it's suddenly got a very tight draw, almost no air going through it. It's not gurgling or leaking and it's not burning it's just very hard work getting a drag off it. It worked fine until a few minutes ago. Does anybody have any ideas?

We have found out that some local shops stock the e liquids now, which is a bonus, haven't got to always order online.

Worra, it is a good idea. My Ego-C came with 3 so I can let people have a go, without them worrying (or me, for that matter!). Good friends I don't worry about anyway, but all sorts are interested, so if I have a spare mouthpiece with me I can be helpful and evangelise to my heart's content, and wash the mouthpieces when I get home.

Plenty, DH has done something to my clearo and it doesn't seem to be leaking any more. I still don't like it much - everything tastes a little bit burnt in it, always has, sonce the first time I used it

Is anybody else finding it hard to sleep at night.

I could pick each and every one of you up and spin you round. I still can't believe dh and I are not smoking. It's like someone took a bloody huge weight off us. I feel like singing in the street.

Strawberry flavour is lovely. Getting cherry and apple on Friday.

I have Golden Burginia (in case I miss the real tobacco taste), chocolate lime, cappuccino & aniseed.

My local baccy shop sells liquids so I'll have a look to see what they have this afternoon.

Day 3 and I have never managed it before. Always had to o have a sly fag. I can smoke with a patch on ffs! Allen Carr didn't work, gp couldn't help, watching my dad die of lung cancer, patches, champix, cold turkey, sprays, gum, poverty, chest infections, I smoked through them all. No more. We've cracked it. We were sat last night marvelling at it. Cigarette free future looks likely, for the first time.

I know 3 days doesn't seem much to some. But feels like a miracle in this house.

Hello everyone. This is my day one of exclusive vaping. Unfortunatly coincides with me hurting my neck so i can't move my head and shoulders and the pain is awful, so im using it a lot to help with the self pity. Still, if i can get through today fag free then i can surely manage to quit!

What flavour are you using? I'm finding the sweet one to be like a fag and a sweetie which is nice.

KUng I was pretty much the same as you & this has been easy.

The only example I've ever known of truly having your cake & eating it!
