Harry Potter themed. Who is your favourite character?

And why?
I love Snape, Ginny and Dobby.
OK, that's 3.
Snape because he is a hero, and I knew he was good when Dumbledore said "Please" when he was about to die. There is no way Dumbledore would have begged for his life, and Snape's face twisted horribly when he said "Avada Kadavara". When he asked Harry to "Look at me" I sobbed. I half thought it was because he wanted to look into Lily's eyes as he died, and half thought he wanted Harry's understanding.

Ginny because she reminds me of my younger self, flaming red curls and all that!

Dobby because I loved reading his parts out loud to my children (we cried laughing at the ironing ears parts), and his heroic demise.

There are so many more. I miss the series so much. Come on Jk, write the prequel please!

Bellatrix because she is crazy. And very sexy.

Hermione because she reminds me of me. Even down to the bird near hair!

Molly Weasley because I want her to be my mum!

And Snape: for ALL the reasons you say and because I fancied the pants off him.

Hermione, she's great. Every girl should aspire to be Hermione.

Ron, he's just so geeky and adorable. I thought he was quite nice in the last one too. I loved it when he and Hermione finally got together.

Hermione, she was basically me but with no glasses. I always liked Fleur,especially after Bill was bitten. Charlie was good too but I do worry about a brother that doesn't think it necessary to mention to their mum that their 11 year old brother asked them to bring a dragon to Romania Hmm

Loved professor McGonagall too, reminds me of my chemistry teacher, the best teacher I ever hadSmile

Snape - same as you really captain because I knew he was good.

Ron - because he was the first boy my DD ever loved!!!!

Sirius Black - not sure why, because he loved Harry I suppose.

Out of interest, has anyone read Jk's adult books? I read the detective one and I was gripped, but now I find it forgettable a few books later. I've not read A Casual Vacancy. What did you think?

i just want to support her. I loved the HP series so much. I was gutted when it all ended.

Bellatrix, She is one evil but brilliant.
Dobby, i cried when he died.
Professor McGonagall, especially when she say in HP7+2 " i have always wanted to use that spell"

Because unlike Harry, they can actually act.

(How bad is it that the weakest link in Harry Potter, is, er, Harry Potter? I also have hooooge issues with Harry's Dad being a Not Very Nice Person but that's maybe for another thread)

My favourite bit of HP though, is not actually in a fillum, but when JK and the gang went to the DH2 screening in Leicester Sq and she said something about "there will always be a home at Hogwarts for you all" or something. My how I sobbed.

Love Hermione as She's very academic but also a good friend and caring person.

Also love Ginny... She has (imo) a very no nonsense attitude. Think she would be a good wife and mother!

Oooh I am a Harry pothead!!

I like Sirius because he was brave and loved Harry sniff sniff

Ron because he is really funny and has a great sense of humour.

Molly because she is just really mumsy and really cares about her children and Harry.

Remus well I am not sure why I like him I just do!

justbecause that would be brilliant! I hadn't thought of that. I did think Dumbledore was related at some stage. What a good story that would make if Snape was his dad! Lily gave in to a teenage fantasy!
