Harry Potter themed. Who is your favourite character?

And why?
I love Snape, Ginny and Dobby.
OK, that's 3.
Snape because he is a hero, and I knew he was good when Dumbledore said "Please" when he was about to die. There is no way Dumbledore would have begged for his life, and Snape's face twisted horribly when he said "Avada Kadavara". When he asked Harry to "Look at me" I sobbed. I half thought it was because he wanted to look into Lily's eyes as he died, and half thought he wanted Harry's understanding.

Ginny because she reminds me of my younger self, flaming red curls and all that!

Dobby because I loved reading his parts out loud to my children (we cried laughing at the ironing ears parts), and his heroic demise.

There are so many more. I miss the series so much. Come on Jk, write the prequel please!

but he got his justice in the end but his story was just as important as Harrys but he didnt have the scar , neville longbottom and the philosophers stone doesnt have the same ring though

Luna is my absolute favourite. She was played beautifully. I am sure I read at the time that the girl who played her had never acted before. Whether true or not, I thought she was mesmerizing.

Also Snape. And Neville - so sad. And Dobby, we all cried when he died.

Lupin and Tonks death made me so sad, little Teddy was orphaned at 3 weeks old.

And Freds death, Rons reaction nearly broke my heart.

Sirius,

All those deaths were so sad.

Neville is my favourite. I agree with the poster who said Harry inherited his fathers arrogance. I liked that Neville was a hero in the end (and a few bits along the way like the house points from dumbledore).

I scored 61 in the quiz. It would have been 63 but I couldn't spell mcgonnogal or kreecher!!

I was reasonably pleased w that since I've not read the books in years and have never seen the films

Loving all the potter threads at the moment.
My top 3 are

Snape - for one word 'always '
Luna - for her understanding of Harry and bizarreness .
McGonagoll - strict but fair

In the films it's slightly different

Bellatrix - HBC got the the character perfect for me
Draco - Tom Felton is hot in the last ones

Dumbledore (of course).

Because he is clever and powerful and unfailingly courteous.

I love the bit where he goes to the Dursley's house at the beginning of bk 6 and blithely sails through the Dursley's lack of welcome. He says something like 'Let us assume you invited me in...' or something funnier than that.
