Harry Potter themed. Who is your favourite character?

And why?
I love Snape, Ginny and Dobby.
OK, that's 3.
Snape because he is a hero, and I knew he was good when Dumbledore said "Please" when he was about to die. There is no way Dumbledore would have begged for his life, and Snape's face twisted horribly when he said "Avada Kadavara". When he asked Harry to "Look at me" I sobbed. I half thought it was because he wanted to look into Lily's eyes as he died, and half thought he wanted Harry's understanding.

Ginny because she reminds me of my younger self, flaming red curls and all that!

Dobby because I loved reading his parts out loud to my children (we cried laughing at the ironing ears parts), and his heroic demise.

There are so many more. I miss the series so much. Come on Jk, write the prequel please!

Oh [embarassed] I mixed up Lucius Malfoy's silly little boy line. He said that when he was the nasty general who shot the young boy in that Mel Gibson civil war movie with Heath Ledger. Film title escapes me at moment.

Bellatrix LeStrange - really because Helena Bonham Carter if I'm honest, so mostly in the films.

Oh no Draco is a horrid little brat. I'd want Lucius to cut him off immediately when he left Narcissa. I think i'd restrict their access weekends and insist he spent the galleons on me instead while I polished his wand Grin

I have read some great fan fiction with him and Hermonie and his sensitive side coming out. Also him and Harry Hmm

All these HP threads plus a talk with a waiter in a restaurant today about HP makes me want to go back to my RPG sites. I got addicted though so need to be careful 6 hours a day isnt a lot surely

I love snaps and hoped all along Jo would make him good, was the highlight of the series when she did. Plus I'm a snake.

I also love Ron and hermione as a pair

Neville for his loyalty and heroism.

Im currently writing a fan fiction, about Snape having to seduce my original character.

I write one about my original character being forced to marry Lucius, and Lucius practically killed her dad but they fall in love and L makes a huge sacrifice to save her.

One thing about Snape though,

His love for Lily was very selfish, and he was willing to give up her family for death, just so he could have her, but he was willing to make her go through immense pain if moldy pants succeeded.

Snape for me. Ginny in the film was too drippy and in the book was too... full of herself, perhaps. The line 'A pygmy puff, but I didn't say where' (about Ron's non existent tattoo) really annoys me for some reason.

McGonagall definitely cool. My other favourites are Ron and Hermione.

I totally agree with what your saying about Snape Ezio I never liked him and him being "good" doesnt excuse all the bad.

I dont like Dumbledore either I thought he was rather selfish to Harry. He could of told him about his suicide mission ffs.
