obviously that should have read some people get emotional, not all, before anyone jumps on me claiming to have been cold hearted baby machine when pregnant.

There is nothing wrong with acknowledging that it is another person you are carrying and not just something that fulfills a need in you, even if that is why you created the baby that you are carrying.

There would be a lot less fucked up people if a good percentage of the population took on some of the sentiment behind these types of messages.

I wish that every baby was loved, in that way, sadly they aren't.

Why is the OP a bad friend just because she thought it was naff? Do none of you ever think negative things about some of the things your friends do or say?

I'd have probably rolled my eyes but been secretly chuffed someone thought to send me something nice. But then I'm too old to worry about being too kool for skool.
