Ready for later! :)

I'm aware this is a ZOMBIE thread and why it's been resurrected!

To answer your question, BabyMonkeyMummy, IIRC TidyDancer updated us a few months ago - on another thread - to say that Gluezilla has now had a baby, with a daft name(?) Grin

As for Tidy's contact with Gluezilla - I believe the friendship has drifted!

Shameless place marking Blush

Also resurrecting this after I read all four threads - also directed here from current Bridzilla thread. It's taken me days... Don't know what I will do with my time now... It was better than the book I was reading...Confused

Would still like to know what excuses Gluezilla gave to mutual friends afterwards for The Uninvited. Grin

I would say to anyone DO NOT START READING. Because you won't be able to stop. Your phone will die and will be angrily charging it so that you can read. Btw started reading because someone posted the link in the "cancel the cheque" thread.

I salute the people who read the complete threads, I just scroll down to each update from OP! I'm sure I missed some cracking posts though.

Read all 4 zombie threads - took me all night and the dogs haven't been walked, but my word it was worth every second!

TikTokFinger · 28/11/2020 11:39

4 years later, after being directed here from another, current, thread, I’ve just done the same. What an exhilarating ride that was!

Queenoftheashes · 28/11/2020 11:45

Haha same! What a ride.

thereisonlyoneofme · 28/11/2020 16:26

Bugger, hadnt seen this previously only just realised its a zombie thread !

ClearingSpaceOnTheTrophyShelf · 28/11/2020 17:26

@BabyMonkeyMummy

I have spent my day off reading all four threads after being directed here from a current Bridezilla thread. I'll admit that it was a day off well spent!

I'm intrigued, if TidyDancer is still around, did you ever hear from Gluezilla or her sister again?

What's the current bridezilla thread, @BabyMonkeyMummy?

Nice to see this thread again. I remember it from first time round

Mumoftwoinprimary · 28/11/2020 17:50

@ClearingSpaceOnTheTrophyShelf - BabyMonkeyMummy posted that in 2016! BabyMonkey is now presumably at school.......

An old thread, but I have nevertheless enjoyed reading it. But it reminded me about my school friend. We were close. Or so I thought. I invited her and her boyfriend whom I had never met to my wedding. She showed up in a brand new sports car and head to toe designer clothes. Proceeded to tell me how much her clothes had cost. She had given a couple of my other school friends a lift as she didn't want to pay for a hotel so talked them into having a lift with her. She then decided to leave at 7pm forcing them to also leave (wedding only started at 4pm). As a gift she left a glass pyrex measuring jug next to the cake (unwrapped and no card). The following year she told me that she was getting married. She phoned me up so many times to discuss decorating the venue and in the end I offered to do it. I made lots of hand made bits and pieces (I'm good at art etc) that she had requested, Inc making her favours. Bought a new dress. Bought her a lovely present. Then she suddenly went quiet. I found out from a close friend that she had got married. A big wedding too. A year later she sent me a handwritten letter with a photo of her in her wedding dress explaining what a busy year she'd had and sorry that she hadn't been in touch! My other school friends were flabbergasted! We joke about it now.
