Who is pictured this week in a lads' mag with a "bevy of beauties".

He is a terrible presenter. Cringe.

Also double standards re his age. Where are the octegenarian female presenters?

dunno. He's one creepy man, IMHO. Bah.

SoleSource · 17/10/2012 20:59

Gawd knoes, misplaced loyalty I guess.

Brucey and tbose fucking CAMERA ANGLES make the programme unwatchable for me :(

LineRunner · 17/10/2012 20:59

He's revolting.

GrimAndHumourless · 17/10/2012 21:00

vile and not funny at ALL

ugh

sooperdooper · 17/10/2012 21:01

Because people keep watching programmes with him in, if the ratings dropped he'd soon be out

LFCisTarkaDahl · 17/10/2012 21:02

Because he's a much loved oldie and is benign.

Surely you don't hate him cos he's old and your assuming he's Saville-like? Hmm

I don't watch Strictly but I loved him when I was little - thought he was funny when I was 10.

AnyaKnowIt · 17/10/2012 21:02

I can't stand him, don't watch anything that has him in it

LineRunner · 17/10/2012 21:04

I've loathed him since he was 'young'.

Dozer · 17/10/2012 21:06

No LFC, I just really dislike his presenting. Would watch Strictly if he wasn't in it.

The good ratings must surely be despite him?

achillea · 17/10/2012 21:06

I like Brucie, but he's got to stop twirling poor Anthea.

WorraLiberty · 17/10/2012 21:07

I don't think he's creepy or vile and I can't see how anyone would feel that way about him?

On the other hand, I do find it cringeworthy when he stutters and stammers over his lines, and fails to deliver the unfunny jokes he tells on Strictly.

Dozer · 17/10/2012 21:07

He was even part of the BBC's general election coverage. Odd.

OP posts:
Lottapianos · 17/10/2012 21:08

He's awful. Just awful. Absolute cringe on Strictly. And a mate of mine met him years ago and said he was a gigantic arsehole and extremely rude.

SoleSource · 17/10/2012 21:08

Brucie was tbe best game show host EVER. I adored him. Leslie Crowther was good too.

LineRunner · 17/10/2012 21:08

He started bumbling into a 'joke' on SCD about his wife and Fifty Shades and had to turn the TV off.

ToothbrushThief · 17/10/2012 21:09

I can't bear to watch him.

SoleSource · 17/10/2012 21:10

Lol Line I know it is totally embarrassing.

I cannot watch it grrr and I want to.

Dozer · 17/10/2012 21:11

Fifty Shades of Bruce!

Confused
OP posts:
Dozer · 17/10/2012 21:12

Strictly Shades of Bruce

OP posts:
Viviennemary · 17/10/2012 21:12

I've never liked him.

sashh · 17/10/2012 21:13

He must have some dirt on someone. I can't see why else he would still be employed.

SoleSource · 17/10/2012 21:15

There is usually a quiet, polite laugh from the audience when Bruce tells one of his jokes.

Lottapianos · 17/10/2012 21:15

Oh dear god I'm so glad I missed the Fifty Shades moment!

achillea · 17/10/2012 21:15

The BBC has some very odd celebrities that get a disproportionate amount of airtime that doesn't match up to their talent (thinking Chris Evans).

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 17/10/2012 21:17

I think he's ok.

Typical saturday night entertainment, cant say he makes me cringe at all.

I think the crap jokes and bumbling delivery are funny. Not hilarious. But not cringeworthy.
