I met Brucie as a child, a more entertaining bloke you couldn't want to meet, my younger sister even danced on stage with him. I also met Leslie Crowther. He was an arrogant cock.

I love him and love him jokes. I don't find him creepy or revolting at all.

I dimly recall Leslie Crowther from Crackerjack and wasn't convinced he was enjoying making the show with the children.

I would think it more likely that he is still on TV because he is very popular rather than because he "must have dirt on someone." He may be unpopular with people who replied to this post, but they aren't necessarily representative of the whole of the viewing public.

I watch at least 20mins behind so I can ffwd. He makes me cringe so much I feel like my body wants to turn inside out! Fluffs lines, talks over the contestants/judges, complains about the scriptwriters, repeats things the judges have just said, makes a comment about each judge's comment... Perhaps I don't know anything about presenting but that's surely not how it's done?!
