Urgh just Urgh is how I have been left feeling so i am going to leave a smiley face as a post to say I believe everyone is free to make their own choices in regard to working or not working after children. Also that I'm so grateful our foremothers fought for us to have the

Agreed - each to their own and what works for one will never work for another!!! :)

BlingBubbles · 13/09/2012 19:13

Totally agree, that other ridiculous thread is just well... Ridiculous!!

there have been a few deliberate wind ups today me thinks?

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 13/09/2012 19:14

I've never understood the need to pass comment on other people's circumstances tbh. If the DC are cared for, loved, fed etc etc, then job done.

AGoldenOrange · 13/09/2012 19:14

I mean who really cares if someone is a wohm or a sahm?

Haribojoe · 13/09/2012 19:15

Couldn't agree more and have commented as much elsewhere Smile

planetpotty · 13/09/2012 19:15

Thanks everyone please leave a Smile to show support to your fellow mums working or not.

Would like to also repeat here what my Mum used to tell me, it's the quality of the time you spend with your DC not the quantity that counts.

StrawberrytallCAKE · 13/09/2012 19:18

:)

Haribojoe · 13/09/2012 19:19

And I am also starting to go grey/White and I do not intend to dye my hair Smile

elfycat · 13/09/2012 19:21

Smile i'm going grey gracefully, SAHM about to start self employment... well done us who just do what we do.

MrsTerrysChocolateOrange · 13/09/2012 19:21

Smile Let's teach our children that they can make their own decisions, just like my WOHM/SAHM DM depending on the year did for me.

Also, Judi Dench is a sex-goddess with grey hair and I don't look that good with blonde hair and twenty years on her.

TerraNotSoFirma · 13/09/2012 19:22

:)

BaronessBomburst · 13/09/2012 19:23

I'm a SAHM and I bloody hate it!

And breathe.......

pinkhollie · 13/09/2012 19:23

Grin wow isn't it brilliant to have choices as a woman in the 21st century. Who would have thunk it?

PrimrosePath · 13/09/2012 19:26

I don't think anyone in real life cares, it's only here where people get their knickers in a twist about it. And then they don't really care and are just being arsey.

superwhizzynewlaptop · 13/09/2012 19:28

I have been a WOHM and am now a SAHM and am "only" 40 and grey

Do I win?

Smile
WingDefence · 13/09/2012 19:29

I was going to post on the other thread but I can't be bothered.

planetpotty · 13/09/2012 19:59
