Urgh just Urgh is how I have been left feeling so i am going to leave a smiley face as a post to say I believe everyone is free to make their own choices in regard to working or not working after children. Also that I'm so grateful our foremothers fought for us to have the

Smile and Grin

Am a grey-haired 44-year-old WOHM btw, and not worried about looking my age either. My model for growing old is Diana out of Waiting for God.

Portofino · 13/09/2012 20:33

Smile I am too tired to judge others for their valid choices.

Smile. WOHM here married to a SAHD. And another wave to the fellow-going-greyers on here.

BlingBubbles · 13/09/2012 20:34

Grin I will give a big grin because every woman should just do what they like

pointy I am with you...but only halfway to irascible grey and thus more Morticia Addams at present.

MrsTerrysChocolateOrange · 13/09/2012 20:38

Is anyone else getting twitchy at all the Smile and love on AIBU? WIBU to name change and get all judgy and shitty on this thread I spend too much time on AIBU.

Pagwatch · 13/09/2012 20:39

Sahm/wohm drives me batty.

We should do what suits us and those we care about. Everyone else should butt out.

I hate that people seem incapable of explaining their choice with criticising someone else's. And that they react to an arse judging a sahm by attacking WOHMs or vica versa.

[grrrrr]

BsshBossh · 13/09/2012 20:39

Smile In the last 4 years since my DD was born I've been WOHM (FT no less), SAHM and WAHM. Plus I'm grey beneath the hair dye.

WOHM 39 weeks a year, SAHM the rest. My hair is purple because it can be, it's probably grey underneath, but who knows? Not me.

Wine all round, I say.

RobinSparkles · 13/09/2012 20:49

I'm not even sure where I fit as SAHM or WOHM. I'm a dinner lady at DD1's school so only work an hour a day and then the rest of the time I'm home.

I think, as a mother, you just do what you gotta do.

I'm not grey but I'm sure I will be one day! :)

I posted on the other one then RL (work) got in the way. Wasn't expecting it to go poof so soon though!

VintageEbonyGold · 13/09/2012 20:53

MoonlightandRoses · 13/09/2012 20:55

Well, being an AIBU? thread, this goes against the grain and all but Smile.
