Urgh just Urgh is how I have been left feeling so i am going to leave a smiley face as a post to say I believe everyone is free to make their own choices in regard to working or not working after children. Also that I'm so grateful our foremothers fought for us to have the

I read threads like that for the same reason I read the daily fail - to punish myself for being a working mum - a bit like self harming. I should stick to threads like this [smiley]

39, grey, ft WOHM who travels for work. I must be the worst person here Smile

storminabuttercup · 13/09/2012 20:10

I've been away a few hours did the grey hair thread turn to a wohm/sahm debate? Seeesh!

People spend too much time worrying about others actions!!

brdgrl · 13/09/2012 20:10

I am a WOHM, a SAHM, and a WAHM - depending on the time of year and how you look at it. And I hate the judgy-pantsers on both sides.

Everyone has to find what suits them and their family. The whole "debate" is a steaming pile of shite.

storminabuttercup · 13/09/2012 20:11

Forgot my Smile

timetosmile · 13/09/2012 20:11
Grin Where's the other thread gone? I went out for 90 minutes and now I can't find it anywhere..has the whole thing been deleted?
timetosmile · 13/09/2012 20:12

sorry, I meant Smile

Goatbongosanonymous · 13/09/2012 20:14

Has everyone got their beehive hairdos and starched swishy skirts with three petticoats? And just today I was listening to some of that newfangled jive music on my wireless...

LineRunner · 13/09/2012 20:14

The other thread was put out of its misery.

This is much nicer. Smile

autumnlights12 · 13/09/2012 20:14

the OP was very judgeypants, yes. But there were far more sahm bashing comments on that thread than whom bashing. Kind of amusing, in a depressing way. Some were silly and sarcastic. But some were serious. Just as bad.

brdgrl · 13/09/2012 20:15

oops. Smile

LineRunner · 13/09/2012 20:15

Yes, well, there will be no room for such silly comments here. Smile

Pozzled · 13/09/2012 20:16

Don't know how to post smilies from my phone, but I'm with you in spirit.

autumnlights12 · 13/09/2012 20:16

Good.

timetosmile · 13/09/2012 20:16

Was it put out of its misery by a Mum who was WORKING???!!

thebeesnees79 · 13/09/2012 20:17

I could not give a crap what others choose to do. working/stay at home its no ones business but the individuals involved.
I had a great career before I had my kids and some days I resent that its gone and other days I love being a sahm.
so here is a Smile for the freedom to choose

planetpotty · 13/09/2012 20:17
