Ive wanted one for ages, it's my birthday soon so DP took me shopping and to the Build A Bear Workshop.
I felt like a right kid!
I chose a cream rabbit with floppy ears, took it to the nice lady who stuffed it and told me to chose a heart to put inside but kiss and make a wish first Blush
I was a bit spoilt for choice on the outfits but I chose some frilly socks, some knickers and a fluffy dressing gown.
Then I had to make her a birth certificate on the computer, I christened her Lola bunny.
Am I unreasonable or just plain weird to be so excited over a stuffed toy?!! :o

I would fully recommend these to anyone stuck on gifts at the moment!

YANBU, thats the sort of thing I would love too! Grin

goingtoofast · 31/08/2012 16:53

Weird thing for an adult to do.

NettOlympicSuperstar · 31/08/2012 16:55

Awww, that's lovely, if it's what you wanted, not weird at all.

Groovee · 31/08/2012 16:55

I'm taking my brownies there for our Christmas Party :-)

mslicketysplit · 31/08/2012 16:56

YANBU, I am desperate to go to build a bear so my fiance can get me a hello kitty Blush

missymoomoomee · 31/08/2012 16:56

YABVU since I have been told by DH for the last 6 years of begging that I am too old for one and am now very jealous Envy

phoenixrose314 · 31/08/2012 16:56

Oh my gosh NO you are not weird at all.

Sometimes there are parts of our inner child that we need to indulge, just to have that feeling, the sparkly excited feeling we once had at Christmas/night before a party etc.

For other people it may not be a stuffed toy, but I totally get it. Enjoy your happiness, wherever you may find it :)

neverknowinglyunreasonable · 31/08/2012 16:57

Is this an advert for Build a Bear Workshop?

Cynner · 31/08/2012 16:57

YABVU for not making the black Halloween that I my daughter has wanted forever..

Cynner · 31/08/2012 16:58

MrsTerryPratchett · 31/08/2012 17:01

GhostShip · 31/08/2012 17:04

The hello kitty ones are amazing! They have little bows and leopard print shoes to buy for them top!

No it's not an advert Confused I'm a regular here who works in a bloody bike shop why would I be advertising them

I'm trying to excuse my childishness by saying but but I'm only twenteen!!!

OP posts:
GhostShip · 31/08/2012 17:06

phoenix that was lovely, thankyou :D

Some people find happiness in expensive clothing, I'm happy with books, cheap plonk and a stuffed rabbit maybe another sort of rabbit too

OP posts:
Cynner · 31/08/2012 17:07

Wish I were twentween...sadly I am almost twentween x2..

StillThinkingOfANickname · 31/08/2012 17:07

YANBU, I am taking my DD to Build a Bear for her 3rd birthday. I'm very excited.

GhostShip · 31/08/2012 17:08

We're as young as we feel! In which case I'm possibly touching 70...

CalamityKate · 31/08/2012 17:08

Nope. We went a few weeks ago and since it was "Buy one get one half price" I insisted on getting one.

He's a gorgeous sort of tortoiseshell, his name is Bryn and yes I kissed the heart and what's more I'm not ashamed

I did draw the line at the whole jumping-up-and-down-and-twirling-round ritual that DS was happy to do though.

Cynner · 31/08/2012 17:08

Ahhhh...naughty girl! My rabbit is shower proof too..knew !?

MrsTerryPratchett · 31/08/2012 17:09

I only want a Hello Kitty for DD, not for me you understand while glaring at DD who likes trucks, cars, motorbikes and weird baby dolls.

Cynner · 31/08/2012 17:09

GhostShip · 31/08/2012 17:10
