Yes, YABU. I have long hair. You're right though, I'm not in a band, work in a guitar shop, or have just arrived through a time warp. I still have my long hair because 1. I'm not going bald yet, 2. My wife likes it and wants me to keep UNTIL I start going bald, and 3. I am a creature of habit like all men and can't imagine doing anything else with it. Simple.

If its well groomed it's fine.

Sometimes it's fine, as long as they're not balding. My Dad had long hair well into his 50s and always looked great. He also has a tooth missing and an earring...and wrote for the FT so used to turn heads at press conferences

DP has very long hair, I cut about a foot off last year! It's in dreads and it's been growing for nearly 30 years. I've never known him without them. He is not a rasta, or in a band, but he is an archaeologist, so goes with territory

DH had long hair when I met him, and to be fair, I think I have only ever dated men with long hair

However, I stopped dating when I was 21 as I met DH and he chopped it off when he was 24.

I do like a man with long hair, but on balance, he does need to be either in a band or a pirate (Jonny Depp not Somali) to carry it off

My DH would look hilarious with long hair...it's really thick and ginger-ish...it grows outwards if he leaves it for a few weeks

YABU. Why should a person be forced to have a crap hairstyle just because they have a penis? The vast majority of people look better with long hair. It's more flattering. It hides big ears and lumpy heads.

I was gutted when DP started receding and cut off all his hair. To be fair, he was starting to look like Terry Nutkins, but baldness aside, long hair is fab!
