Correct, men with long hair look absurd. There's not much more to it. Any other obvious observations for us?

They just look like men with long hair to me, not absurd at all.

Me too, I'd warm to them in the same way I would if they had ink or piercings. It would be an icebreaker for me.

My DP (24) has lovely long hair that is in better condition than 90% of my female friends. His hair is gorgeous (as is he of course ;)) I agree with the consensus that it's great as long as it is in good nick (the number of times my friends point out someone with a horrible scraggly, greasy ponytail and say "is he your type?'....) and not balding.

Ok putting aside your DH/DP for a minute. What would you think if your bank manager had long hair? Or your dentist? Or your DCs teacher?

I personally think men with skinhead haircuts look absurd (weird fuzzy eggs..) Takes all sorts, eh badgeroncaffeine.

I can not stand short, 'prettied' hair on men. Nothing to me is a bigger turn off.

I like my men with long hair - dreads, ponytail, colour, tidiness.... they are all optional.

I also like beards and can not stand a man in a suit jacket.

YABU! My DH has gorgeous long hair and I love it :o He's a musician but also a top-flight academic and Head of Department at a Russell Group university, and I don't think his students have ever objected. So many of our male friends have long hair that DS, as a toddler, famously described his friend's short-haired dad as having 'girl's hair' :) His hair is in much better condition than mine as well

Wtf has hair got to do with whether a Dr is giving sound treatment? My GP has long hair, it bears no relation to her ability to do the job

I love long hair on men. My dh is going a bit Bill Bailey and I'm dreading him having to cut it I'd think it was great if teachers/bank managers/dentists had long hair- why on earth not?
