Because tonight, after the Ukraine have bombed out of Euro 2012, Satan will be going for a stroll with his brass knuckles on :(

If the England fans have any sense they will head back to their hotels as quickly as they can, and stay there, but I suspect that they wont and it will be terrible :(

And yes, i know that they wouldnt have gone through anyway, but when did common sense stand in the way of a good riot?

Yes. Sad

JumpingThroughHoops · 19/06/2012 21:42

Satan?

bogeyface · 19/06/2012 21:42

If IABU, why the sad face?!

I am happy England won, just not happy that based on recent history, its all going to go to hell......

cheery

takingiteasy · 19/06/2012 21:48

I take it you're saying the Ukrainian fans are going to be spoiling for a fight?

cocolepew · 19/06/2012 21:49

Well... considering England cheated.....

takingiteasy · 19/06/2012 21:50

And the English fans have never caused bother have they?

JumpingThroughHoops · 19/06/2012 21:51

thebody · 19/06/2012 21:51

It's not been a secret that the home fans are quite into their retro 80's style hooliganism has it. If I were there I'd be off to my hotel quick sharp. Sad

AKE2012 · 19/06/2012 21:58

I am not an England fan but even i feel a bit uneasy bout the fans being there.

nancy75 · 19/06/2012 21:58

England didn't cheat, they don't decide if a goal is allowed or not, it's down to the officials, nothing to do with the England team and it was off side anyway!
The crowd in the stadium look well behaved, even at the end so hopefully there won't be riots tonight

bogeyface · 19/06/2012 21:59

the body I dont wish to be rude, but why is that my fault?! Me posting this wont make it more or less likely to happen, and its been all over the news about possible violence, so hardly a secret.

And I meant to add, if your son is sensible (as the vast majority are) I am sure he will be fine.

OP posts:
aquashiv · 19/06/2012 21:59

Ah it will be fine dont worry. Most of the lunatics are monitored now.
How come Rooneys eyes are so satan like tonight though?

Rindercella · 19/06/2012 22:00
Fireandashes · 19/06/2012 22:00

England didn't cheat, and one of the Ukrainians was offside in the build-up to their 'goal' so justice was done.

Naively and optimistically, I hope there's no real trouble after the match tonight.

bogeyface · 19/06/2012 22:01

He's wearing his lucky pants, sadly they happen to belong to his wife Wink

bogeyface · 19/06/2012 22:02

Blimey, wish I hadnt said anything now!

But the thought of what may happen is very worrying, as its on the Ukrainians home turf. I didnt expect to instigate a sympathy riot on MN!

MyLittleMiracles · 19/06/2012 22:03

Oh we won. really i was expecting us to lose.

Can i also ask if anyone else thinks that the football is just an excuse for a lot of the men (and some women ) out there to go and get hammered? Either in celebration or commiseration??

It is a stupid excuse to in my opinion.
