Because tonight, after the Ukraine have bombed out of Euro 2012, Satan will be going for a stroll with his brass knuckles on :(

If the England fans have any sense they will head back to their hotels as quickly as they can, and stay there, but I suspect that they wont and it will be terrible :(

I'd be surprised if there isn't trouble tonight. Hopefully, our English yobs weren't allowed to travel for the tournament and the other supporters will keep their heads down.

Tortington · 19/06/2012 22:06

i didn't realise you needed an excuse to get hammered Grin

cantspel · 19/06/2012 22:06

MyLittleMiracles I dont drink but love football so that shots that one down

complexnumber · 19/06/2012 22:06

bogeyface, you are coming across as one of those who would love to turn around in 24 hours and say "I told you so!"

Will you also turn around and praise the fans who have behaved well?

nancy75 · 19/06/2012 22:07

I think know hooligans in this country have to surrender their passports before any major international tournaments, they are certain well monitored

bogeyface · 19/06/2012 22:07

There were alot of passports confiscated Face so fingers crossed, but I suspect some will always slip through.

MyLittle I dont think so, I just think that the drinking is a side effect! Do you like Wimbledon? Or is that just an excuse to drink champagne and eat strawberries....

A bit of an alarmist thread OP

It might kick off or it might not...same could be said for any game though.

PMSL @ 'England cheated'!!

bogeyface · 19/06/2012 22:09

Complex what I would love is to come back in 24 hours and say "Well I feel stupid! Thank goodness it didnt kick off last night"

Truly.

I wouldnt say I would praise them as I think that behaving well should be a default, not something that requires effort. But I would be pleased that they showed that not all England fans are pissed up violent idiots.

ilovesooty · 19/06/2012 22:09

I went to see the England v Sweden match in the pub and drank diet coke all night.

bogeyface · 19/06/2012 22:11

OK, IABU.

Fair enough

nancy75 · 19/06/2012 22:11

Op the vast majority of England fans are not violent thugs, football in this country has less violence than most, we have come a long way since the eighties.

BettyTurnip · 19/06/2012 22:11

I think he's had his eyebrows waxed (Rooney, not Satan).

cocolepew · 19/06/2012 22:13

Satan gets his threaded.

bogeyface · 19/06/2012 22:14

I know that Nancy but it has been all over the news about the concerns of violence from the Ukrainians, along with very nasty racism.

WHilst I am happy to be told IABU, can I please ask you to read this thread I started last night? This lads family are going out of their mind with worry.

There has been a possible sighting of him on a train to Berlin but so far it has not been confirmed its him and he still hasnt been in touch.

*"Complex what I would love is to come back in 24 hours and say "Well I feel stupid! Thank goodness it didnt kick off last night"

Truly."*

I'll put that in my diary, and file it under "Ignorant"

LST · 19/06/2012 22:16

England cheated! Hahahahahahaha.

MyLittleMiracles · 19/06/2012 22:16

I like football, but dont see why we cant stay indoors, rather than going to the pub, drinking in excess and ending up in trouble? And i am sure a fair few men go, oh england is playing tonight hun, must go to the pub to watch it......I AM SURE THERE ARE A NUMBER THAT DO!!

FunnysInLaJardin · 19/06/2012 22:17

I'm just a bit Angry that it's going to go on for another game at least and England will loose this one or the next on penalties and DH will be all of a lather for the next week. Disrupts my routine it does.

bogeyface · 19/06/2012 22:18

Why dont you file it under F and O?

OP posts:
LST · 19/06/2012 22:19

I like going to the pub watch the footie. I don't see the problem tbh.

bogeyface · 19/06/2012 22:19

i prefer watching it at the pub Mylittle but I drive and drink OJ. The atmosphere is better when there is a roomful of people all shouting for them, I dont know why, it just is!

OP posts:
cantspel · 19/06/2012 22:19

my husband went to the pub to watch the game. I stayed at home but he hasn't come back rat arsed so what is the big deal about where you watch them game
