To hate this weather?

I loathe the summer especially when it's hot.

I hate been sweaty,
I hate BBQ's,
I hate the neighbours who are at this moment blasting Rhianna (sp?) while getting pissed

DP says im a miserable cow and i should be loving it, surely im not the only person like this or AIBU?

I'm sorry to have to tell you bunbaker but you are wrong . Especially if you have to combine hot weather with office appropriate clothes and have chunky great legs and a huge bum.

I would love to wear loose linen trousers and I think they look great on other people but hideous on me. I can't quite describe the awfulness but trust me, it's awful. I have a friend who's actually a bit bigger than me but she's apple and I'm pear - she was insisting loose linen trousers look good on everyone so I tried on hers to show her and she fell silent in horror. Skirts even hovering on the knee are just too short for me even with tights given my atrocious legs, let alone without tights.

Dresses - well, not too bad but not always office-appropriate (I work in a formal environment so can't get away with floaty). And if you do find a decent, structured one, chances are it will be sleeveless which is not really on in my office and also not really on to expose my saggy arms to everyone.

I cobble things together with linen skirts (which honestly I don't like - too crimply) and smartish tops when I can find ones that are nice enough for work. Perhaps the problem is, if your general vibe is fairly smart and not very casual (which mine is), summer is a problem. Unless you can work the Business Shorts look which frankly, I can't.

The flip side is, I look great in a skirt and opaque tights and boots for the winter

YABU. Proper summer weather and BBQs are great. Although neighbours blasting out any music would annoy me.

YABU. I'm currently lying on the beach in a bikini with a cocktail and an ice lolly. Horrendous, isn't it? :p

But as soon as I see a bee or wasp I'll be cursing to the high heavens and vowing not to leave the house til it's winter and all the buzzing stinging bastards have died.

I love the sunshine and a bit of heat (enough not to have to wear a cardi) but there needs to be a breeze to air out this house. The upstairs windows and bavk door are open and I'm still boiling.

So "everyone" moans about cold/wet? Bollocks. A lot of people are perfectly happy with cold/wet weather.

I constantly moan about cold and wet weather.
I love a bit of sunshine, it's so rare.
