Ugly on the inside and the outside......

No doubt she would read this thread and say "Look they are being so nasty because they are all jealous of my beauty"

Salmotrutta · 03/04/2012 16:46

Well it certainly seemms to have provoked exactly the response the DM was looking for on here anyway Line

OriginalJamie · 03/04/2012 16:47

Exactly, It's veiled misogyny and we're the butt of the joke

LineRunner · 03/04/2012 16:49

Indeed, Salmo.

Maybe the real story is, 'Daily Mail will print any old made-up shit if it gets women to look like they're criticising each other.'

LineRunner · 03/04/2012 16:50

Hello, Jamie, I fear you may be right.

Salmotrutta · 03/04/2012 16:50

Maybe the outrage would be better directed at the DM who have set her up?

Yes, she is just good-looking etc. and not stunning.

And I'm sure she is going to get some pretty horrible backlash too.

But I feel a bit sorry for her falling into this trap.

Salmotrutta · 03/04/2012 16:51

X-posts.

OriginalJamie · 03/04/2012 16:51

Or she's in on it. It really wouldn't surprise me. I hope so, actually

Apparently the Daily Mail no has the world's most visited 'news' website. It ecplipses the NYT, it eclipses all of them.

I hate the Daily Mail and yet I can?t look away. I need the shot of rage that the comments section gives me every day.

How can I wean myself off of this?

LineRunner · 03/04/2012 16:56

Well, if the article doesn't make sense (shall we say) 'aesthetically', then it is either exploiting a deluded subject, or exploiting the readership.

georgie22 · 03/04/2012 17:00

How can she be so up herself? I just don't buy all that men buying me flowers etc. crap! She's OK but the type you wouldn't look twice at. She's not even got one really outstanding feature. Not that I'm a stunner but I do have good hair. (flicks hair nonchanantly)! I'd imagine she would be a nightmare to be around - that's why she gets blanked!

Avenged · 03/04/2012 17:01

I read that article this morning, beofre decorating my friend's flat. I thought she was rather full of herself in all honesty. Certainly came across as having an inflated ego.

I don't know if she realises that it's her being up her own arse that people don't like rather than her being pretty. OK, she's pretty, but not amazingly beautiful. I've seen loads of prettier women TBH.

Stratters · 03/04/2012 17:02

I think she's serious.

In another article she states that her boss leers at her and remarks about wanting to see her norks through a Victorian nightdress. Hmm

PostBellumBugsy · 03/04/2012 17:03

Surely this came out on Sunday and was some kind of April Fool?! I feel mortified for her. How embarrassing (& uncool) to think you are some kind of stunning beauty, rather than a moderately attractive woman - wearing alot of make up and with very heavily high lighted hair.

gettinghappy · 03/04/2012 17:03

Haven't read the thread but did click the link............I don't think she is even close to pretty!!

anychocswilldo · 03/04/2012 17:08

What a deluded strange woman. Don't know what she sees when she looks in the mirror but its not reality. No wonder people don't like her, I bet she's a right big headed twatcow!

belgo · 03/04/2012 17:08

'I have written in the Mail on how I have flirted to get ahead at work, something I?m sure many women do'

perhaps that's why some women don't like her? Because she's a flirt, and because of her disparaging attitude towards other women whom she thinks only getting ahead because of flirting?

TerrierMalpropre · 03/04/2012 17:09

Maybe she's desperate for cash and the DM made her an offer she couldn't refuse? What else could possibly make someone sell their soul do such a thing?

emsyj · 03/04/2012 17:09

She's perfectly nice looking - nothing wrong with her. Quite attractive I suppose. But she is deluded if she thinks people dislike her because she is so gorgeous. I went to university with the most jaw-droppingly beautiful girl and she was not just gorgeous, she was very popular (with both sexes). Why? Because she was nice, fun and pleasant to be around. It doesn't take a genius to work out why she finds herself shunned by others!

Why don't I get free stuff, eh? I'm not that bad looking! Sad I want free champagne.

CheesyWellingtons · 03/04/2012 17:09

I knew who this was about too. Hilarious - I actually feel a bit sorry for her too.

Also glad I am not the only one with a Daily Mail on-line habit. I hate the Daily Mail and am an otherwise reasonably sensible forty-somethinger, but I just can't resist ...

squeakytoy · 03/04/2012 17:10

Just looked at the article again. I dont think I have ever seen so many readers comments, or as many green arrows ever! Grin

Bet she thinks twice before being such an arrogant twit again!

fussbucket · 03/04/2012 17:11

Should have guessed it was DM, can I ask everyone who does links to warn us what load of complete twaddle news website it comes from before we waste a minute of our lives that we will never get back looking at a silly mare with an ego the size of an elephant?

SusanneLinder · 03/04/2012 17:11

I am MUCH better looking than she is :o:o

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 03/04/2012 17:13

Hardly in the realms of the mega gorgeous. Can't think she would turn that many heads, except in the confines of her own head.
